im having a slight problem with insurance today so a quick question to see what i describe him as, he is a rottie, has a rottie mum and dad so the quotes im getting for his insurance is around the £45 mark but if i put him as a crossbreed its coming in at around £22, seeing as he is a rescue dog how would they know the parentage and what would you do

If he is a Rottie you have to insure him as one or it would be invalid.

yes sorry what i meant was when i put in details you have to click pedigree and then rottie breed or crossbreed then rottie, what i mean is he hasnt any papers or anything so does that class him as none pedigree as i would still saying he is a rottie but not a pedigree.

what insurance do people recommend too as we are with more than with our other pets but with the four of them insured it will take us up to around £90 per month

We had many good years with Sainsburys (AXA) but when our dog reached 11 the premium went up by over 150% (from £19.99 to £55+). We had never claimed in 7 years apart from one minor stitch job, he was in good health, no medical conditions etc. So beware.
