31-07-2016 Woof is a 7 year old ex breeding Westie and after years of having puppies she is looking for her happy ever after home. This dear little girl is timid at first but slowly snuggles into your arms if you are patient. Woof really enjoys a cuddle once she has settled and with time, love and patience I think this girl will thoroughly enjoy all the pleasures of life in her forever home. As she has always lived with other dogs a kind resident dog is a must as she will need someone to show her the ropes and that home life is nothing to be afraid of. As Woof will have never lived in a home she will not be house trained and this is something she will find easier to learn with a resident dog. Although Woof does not yet walk on a lead we will soon be teaching her about this so she can enjoy exploring with her new owners. This girl has had seven long years as a breeding dog and she now needs a forever home where she can be loved and adored. If you think you can give this girl everything she needs then please don't delay in applying for her as she has spent long enough in kennels.

01-08-2016 Poppet is a 5 year old Pug cross who has come in to us from a home through no fault of her own. Poppy walks well on a lead and is house trained. She is confident and very friendly and loves having attention but we don't think she'd cope well at being left alone so possibly would not be able to go as an only dog. She passed her cat test today, gets on well with the other dogs in her kennel and we have been told she is good with children.

01--8-2016 Smoochy is a 6 year old ex breeding Mastiff who has been given to us to rehome. She is a gentle giant of a dog and loves to cuddle and snuggle into us. She gets on well with the other dogs she has met here and will need another friendly dog in her new home to teach her about the sights and sounds of home life. Smoochy will not be house trained and will find it easier if she has a resident dog to learn from. Smoochy is very strong on the lead and will require further training which is something we will start whilst she is here. Smoochy is a calm and placid girl who really is ready to start to learn about the joys of being a pet. We would prefer to home this girl with older children as she will not be used to being around children and could easily knock them over. If you feel that you can offer this girl a loving home then please complete the application form and get in touch.

31-07-2016 Rainbow is a 5 year old ex breeding Bichon. This poor sweet girl is blind, we will get her eyes seen to find out if she can be given the gift of sight. She is totally lost in this new environment and needs to be out of kennels and looked after in a warm comfortable home. She will need a resident friendly dog to be her guide in her new home to help her learn about living as a pet and give her some much needed confidence. She has never lived in a home before so may find the new smells and sounds scary to start with. She doesn't know how to walk on a lead yet and will need help with her house training. If you can offer Rainbow the Gift of Sight she is by donation as long as you are able to commit to her medical care. If you have the time, love and patience to help Rainbow experience home life for the first time in her life then please complete an application form - she is a very sad girlie at the moment.

31-07-2016 Amelia is a 2 year old ex breeding Cavachon who has been given to us to find her forever home. She is a delicate little girl who does not yet understand that humans can be kind and is understandably wary of us at the moment. She will need a calm household without any children or one where children are older and very dog savvy. Amelia is great with the dogs she is kennelled with and will need at least one other dog in her new home to help her understand the sights and sounds of home life. A resident dog will help Amelia learn to be confident and will also help her with house training. As yet Amelia does not walk on a lead but as soon as she is a little happier with her new surroundings we will be introducing this to her. If you would like to offer this special girl a loving forever home then please complete the application form so she can start her new life without delay.

02-08-2016 Haven is a 9 week old female yorkie cross puppy. Little Haven is a beautiful pup who was born in foster by emergency C section to a wonderful mum called Hen, Haven has been well socialised and cared for since birth. House training is still very much a work in progress although the pups use puppy training pads they tend to like to re arrange them and turn them upside down at the moment. Haven is a cheeky pup who likes to play with her brothers and sisters and is full of terrier character. she's not backward in coming forward when it comes to other dogs so a calm laid back resident dog would be good to help this pup settle and show her the ropes. Lead walking is yet to start.

02-08-2016 Hooch is a 9 week old female yorkie cross puppy. She is a delightful little puppy who was born by emergency C section to a fabulous mum called Hen. She has an apparant lyxating patella and very little bone in her hip socket, she gets by, by "bunny hopping" and by doing so she manages to maintain a fair speed to keep up with her siblings. This is not to be encouraged though and the only real way of knowing how severe the joint problem is will be x rays when the pup is slightly older. In the meantime it's suggested that she has little and often lead walks. Try telling that to a very excited, very happy Yorkie pup who is obviously not in any pain at the moment the only "problem" she has is cornering at speed when her leg gives way. Hooch is well played with and socialised with people and dogs but lead walking is yet to begin. She really is a very special pup. She will need to be neutered at 6 months and attend puppy classes.

02-08-2016 Harri is a 9 week old female Yorkie cross puppy. This dear little puppy was born in foster home by emergency C Section to a yorkie mum called "Hen". She has been well socialised, mixed with children and nurtured as needed from birth. Harri is used to resident dogs from labradors to cavalier and shihtzu. She is confident in play but lead walking is yet to begin. Although they have puppy pads to toilet on dragging them around the room and rearranging her toys is a far better game at the moment so toilet training is an also an on going project but with the warmer weather here it should be easy to crack. Harri Sleeps all night and travels well in the car. Harri may be small in size but she is large in personality and she won't be put off by playful resident dogs. Because of her small physical size I would rather home her with adult children rather than toddlers who could easily think she is a toy. She will need to be neutered at 6 months and attend puppy classes.
