23-05-13 Mild is a 9 month old Yorkie. This boy is simply delightful! He is waggy, happy and affectionate. He has charm and charisma in bucketfuls and will wrap everyone he meets round his little paw! Mild doesn't know how to walk on a lead yet but we think he will be a very quick learner with this and settling into home life, although he may need house training. Mild is one of the very few Yorkies we see who would be perfectly happy in his new home as an only dog, but would also be happy if he had a little doggy friend too.

23-05-13 Sofie is a 2 year old Springer Cross. This gorgeous girl was rescued from a very difficult situation. She is full of forgiveness and now needs a loving home to help her forget the past. She is a beginner and is a little skitty on the lead (she would blot away if she had the chance). She is sweet and will need another kind dog in her new home to help build her confidence up. She would love to go to training classes and have a very special someone who is willing to work with her in her life.

24-05-13 Tops is a beautiful 2 year old female Labrador who was saved from the pound. Hours after she arrived with us she gave birth to 4 gorgeous puppies. We didn't even know she was pregnant! She walks nicely on the lead but will pull to say hello to other dogs. She is a lovely mum and adores people and other dogs alike.

23-05-13 Vespa is a very small 10 month old collie who at this tender age (a puppy herself) was dumped in some outbuildings with her pups! She is a very happy and lively dog who will need an active home to keep her mind and body busy. She doesn't yet know how to walk on a lead and will need another dog in her new home to raise her confidence and show her the way. Vespa will need plenty of tender loving care and an home to call her own.

20-05-13 Brook is a 6 months old. Her mum was a lurcher and dad a greyhound. This sweet girl has been returned as she was too full on for the young children and cat in the home. She is an active dog who needs lots of mental stimulation. She is now with a very experienced fosterer, who will be working with her and update very soon.

07-02-13 Mya is a 6 year old ex-breeding Cavalier. Sadly Mya has had to come back in to the care of Many Tears as her owner has become unwell, according to her previous owner Mya walks well on her harness and enjoys a regular walk every day, she has a good appetite although a little too good as her waist line is a little on the large size. Mya is used to having her owner around all day and gets a little depressed when she is on her own. She has been living with a yorkie and before was in a breeding kennels with other dogs so Mya needs another dog in her forever home. Mya still needs some help with housetraining and she is a dog who likes routine, when asked to do something different like walk a different direction from normal she gets a little bit worried. Another confident friendly dog in her forever home will help her a lot. She is very confident with other dogs happy to tell an over enthusiastic puppy to behave. Mya has so much love to give please consider offering her a forever home.

03-06-13 Mystie is a beautiful 7 month old Labrador Cross who has been handed to us as her owner felt she was too nervous. She walks on a lead but is wary of her new surroundings which can make her a little skittish - this wil improve through time and socialisation. She is a lovely girl who will allow us to stroke her but she needs to learn how to trust people. Mystie would like a companion dog in her new home to help raise her confidence and needs an understanding new owner who will support her and give her the patience and love she needs at the moment. Mystie is so full of promise, she can sit when asked and when we look into those big brown eyes we can see she desperate to be loved and will be a loyal, loving companion for some lucky person.

03-06-15 Toby is a 5-6 year old Tri Border Collie, who has sadly had to be returned to Many Tears, as he was no longer getting on with his owner’s resident Labrador bitch, and finding town life too hard to deal with. Toby is a very nervous collie, who is extremely sound sensitive. He hates anything that makes a noise like the hoover, lawn mower etc. He can deal with normal traffic, but doesn’t like anything bigger than a car, with a particular dread of dust carts.
So Toby’s ideal new home would be somewhere in a quiet location, he would love to be someone’s only pet so he can get the love and attention he deserves. He needs a collie experienced handler and is not suitable for a first time dog owner. He needs firm but fair handling, as he can be a tad stubborn when he wants to be! He is pretty much a one person dog, so sharing responsibility for his care between two people (ie while one is out at work) has not worked particularly well. Toby does walk well on the lead when he is out, but feels more secure on lead as he will flee if he hears a sound he doesn’t like, and is fearful if a dog comes up to him. However, in the right environment he loves a good run along the beach, and always has a fantastic time on the beaches of Cornwall and Devon when he’s been there on holiday, and loves paddling in the surf. He is not particularly toy motivated, but will return a ball for a treat. Toby is used to being crated, which helps calm him down if he is stressing out over noise, and can be left for a couple of hours a day. He enjoys a good belly rub as well! In the right environment, with the right owner, if Toby could see past his fears he will make a fantastic pet, as he really is a lovely boy. He was first abandoned on the Brecon Beacons, and has now lost the home he has had for the last few years, so his next home needs to be his final one and one that will make him happy. 28-05-13 Zoe is a beautiful collie who was rescued from a pound. We think she is about 2 years old. She would have been put to sleep as no one claimed or wanted her, but she had an angel watch over her. Christine (the angel) had her at home one day while trying to find a rescue space for her. She was and still is incredibly frightened and spent her time at Christine's home cuddled up as small as she could make herself on the bed. She was no trouble and although so frightened never growled or snapped. Once here we bathed and chipped her and although still very afraid she walked on a lead by our sides. This is a dear little collie who has suffered great worries in the last few weeks. She is a very frightened dog at the moment and would be happier in a home without children. At the moment she really is a very frightened girl. She needs someone very special to be there to love her and help her move forwards. We hope to get her to a home foster home ASAP.

04-06-13 Meg is an 8 year old ex-breeding Labrador. She is a very majestic lady who walks on a lead and enjoys the company of other dogs and will need a home with at least one other to help teach her about house training and living in a home. She has some scabs on her nose at the moment which should soon heal and a lump on her chest which our vet will look at. She is a darling girl who deserves lots of love and cuddles. She is very interested in the world and would love to explore with her new family. She is by donation because of her age.

05-06-13 Tilly is a 7½ week old stunning springer spaniel puppy. She is just a delight. This litter were lucky to have been born in a foster home and have been lovingly and lavishly reared giving them the very best possible start in life. They have been well handled and socialised with adults and children and of course the other dogs. They have met the cats and are a bit scared of them! They are big chunky gorgeous very active super friendly puppies. Their mum Teag has the most gentle temperment and has been a doting dedicated mummy. They will need plenty of exercise and mental stimulation as they are a busy intelligent breed. You will also need to continue giving them lots of cuddles and take them to puppy classes and then onto further education.
