10-11-2016 Tweet is a 2 year old female Shih Tzu who has been given to us by her breeder to find a forever home. She is a happy waggy girl who is quite nosey and inquistive but is not used to being handled although she does settle in our arms. She loves her kennel mates and is good with other dogs and has always been around them so will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her get used to the sights and sounds of everyday life and to cuddle up with. She will have never lived in a home before and will need help with housetraining and this will be easier if she can follow the example of a resident dog. At the moment Tweet doesn't walk on a lead but as she starts to settle we will gently introduce this to her. She is going to need a patient owner who would like to give her lots of love and patience to help her become a happy family pet. If you can offer Tweet the home that she really deserves then please apply as soon as possible and help her to take the next step into a better life.

12-11-2016 Finn is a 5 year old male Collie he has come to us from a home through no fault of his own, his family's circumstances have changed and they were no longer able to care for him. He is a typical active collie, who will need quiet an active home. He loves nothing more than playing ball and loves swimming. He knows basic commands such as sit and lay down and is good off lead. He does chase cars and will nip at legs if he can't get at them he also needs a home with no livestock as he is a typical collie. He is very excitable when there is alot going on around him so he will do best in a quiet home. He gets on well with other dogs but is also confident enough to be homed as an only dog. If you feel you can offer this boy the home he deserves please apply.

13-11-16 Flora is a 6 year old ex breeding Yorkshire Terrier. She is a very sweet and truly adorable little girl who has a docked tail. She has sadly been returned as she found the other dogs in the house a little too much but here at the rescue she is fine with calm and gentle companions. She would benefit from a confident but calm dog in her new home but in the right circumstances and with an experienced dog owner we may consider homing her as an only dog. If this was the case you would need to be sympathetic to her needs and understand that it may take longer for her to be house trained and settle into her new life. If left on her own too soon after she is adopted this can lead to separation anxiety so this is also something that would need to be considered if she was an only dog. She already walks well on the lead. Flora is going to be a lovely pet, who ever adopts her will not regret it. Flora has her own passport.

11-11-2016 Jasmine is an 8 week old female Golden Retriever puppy. She is extremely cuddly and when picked up will nuzzle right in. She is a typical happy waggy tailed pup, who loves to bounce around and play. Poor Jasmine seems to be urine incontinent at the moment. We are unsure why this is and she is a bit young to investigate. Our hope is that a lovely adopter will adopt Jasmine and be able to pay for investigations themselves. Jasmine is going to be a big commitment for someone, she may have alot of vet bills and who ever adopts is going to have to be willing to regularly wash her bed, the floors etc. She really is a super pup and will make you smile every day. She could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances if her new family were home the majority of the time. She will need to be spayed at 6 months and attend puppy training classes.

14-11-16 Whin is a 4 year old female ex breeding Cavishon when she first arrive she was very scared of people and what we might do to her. She found a home but has sadly been returned as when her owner got her out of her crate (her place of safety) she panicked, hid under furniture and bit when they tried to get her out. She is not aggressive but this was pure fear so she needs a home with experience of scared dogs and no children. Whin was lucky enough to be returned to her foster home where she has grown in confidence and now tries to jump up on the sofa (but canít quite do it by herself). She needs a quiet home with a small dog friends that she can learn from. She is almost 100% clean in the house and uses puppy pads if the door to the garden isn't open. She doesn't walk on a lead yet but training has started. This little lady really needs a special home.

17-11-2016 Maximus is one of 12 who we have taken in from Cyprus. He is a 2 year old male hound cross estimated to be born in January 2014 and was taken into rescue in May 2015 and has been waiting for a home since then. Maximus was found with a broken leg, but this has been operated on and he is now recovering. He is a very friendly boy and loves being around people! We are looking for a home with another dog to help him settle into his new life and to help him with house training should he need it. Maximus has been in kennels for over a year now and is ready to find his forever home, do you think that can be you?
