28-10-14 Keira is a 5 year old ex-breeding poodle who has come to us with her two puppies. She is a beautiful little girl who is very friendly and just wants to be picked up and cuddled or played with. Keira doesn't walk on a lead yet but she is incredibly bright and it won't take long to learn. She sleeps all night with her pups and toilets on a puppy pad. House training is coming along. Keira will toilet in the garden if taken outside. Ideally she would like another dog as a companion to help her settle into her new home.

26-11-14 Pippin is a 3 year old Springer x Collie who has sadly been given up due to a change in her families personal circumstances. Whoever adopts this gorgeous girl will feel very lucky indeed. As beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside Pippin has manners to match, she is affectionate and gentle to all she meets and has been brought up with small children who she loved.
.....Pippin ticks all the boxes for a great family companion, she adores long walks and swimming and will need an active home. The only negative I have found is Pippin is inclined to pull on the lead, I will be working on this but new owners may need to continue with training until resolved. If you can offer a lovely home to 'practically perfect in every way' Pippin Poppins please fill in the application and come meet her.

27-11-2014 Mystic is a 2 year old ex-farm dog. Mystic is a delightful girl who desperately wants to be your friend but is just a little unsure at the moment. Mystic walks on the lead and could be an only dog in a Collie experienced home or be homed with another dog. Mystic would need an active home where she will get lots of exercise both physical and mental.

27-11-14 This 7 year old ex breeding poodle is called Minnie. She is very sweet and thoroughly enjoys spending time with people! This little sweetheart gets on very well with other dogs also, having a similar sized friend to cuddle with would be nice for her! Minnie will need to learn about house training and walking on a lead and a confident resident dog would help this along quickly; but if you have the time to put in yourself this would be fine. Is your lap big enough for this lovely girl?

27-11-14 Mouse is a 12 week old Shihtzu Cross who is an unsold puppy due to his hernia and overshot jaw. He manages fine although his hernia may need to be repaired at the time he is neutered at 6months old. Mouse is a gorgeous puppy who is as happy as a hippo in a cool pond when he is laying in your arms. He loves to make friends and is a wriggly bundle of love. He will need to go to training and socialisation classes, be taught right from wrong and of course have nothing but love and security from his new family.

30-11-2014 Sophie is an 8 year old Cocker Spaniel lady. Sophie has just travelled from the far South East of England with her owner to be given up as her owner is losing her battle with cancer and now wants Sophie to have the best possible chance of a new home. Sophie is a sweet and loving girl who is not great with other dogs but is very affectionate with people and constantly wags her tail. Sophie is very overweight at present and can not be spayed untill she lose 6kg and because of this Sophie will be by donation and adopted on a disclaimer that she will be spayed as soon as she has lost the weight. Sophie has been the apple of her owners eye and we are very aware of the trust she has put in us to find this very special girl a home.

01-12-14 Little Dourado has the most gorgeous light brown eyes to match his adorable ears. This little Podengo Cross really need someone to love him. Right before he was pulled from the kill shelter in Portugal, little Dourado was attacked in the kennel by bigger dogs. He received some nasty cuts and bruises but has recovered nicely. The attack has left him a bit timid but still friendly and sweet as ever. This little dog is now in the UK looking for his forever family. Podengo's make great pets and very loyal companions. Portugal has one of the worst dog abandonment, mistreatment and cruetly issues in Europe. Over 30,000 dogs a year are abandoned by their owners to fend for themselves and another 100,000 are put to sleep so Dourado has come here to find his forever home.

01-12-14 Little Paco is a sweet 10 month old Podengo mix boy. Podengo's are great dogs, very loyal and very common in Spain and Portugal. He was rescued a shelter in Portugal where 93 dogs where put down in one day so Paco is one of the very lucky to get out alive. Now he is in the UK and has a second chance at a dream life with a 5 star family. Portugal is one of the worst European cities for animal abuse, abandonment and mistreatment. 30,000 dogs a year are abandoned in Portugal either to the streets to fend for themselves or discarded at a kill shelter where their inevitable fate is death. Pace is a very handsome terrier sized little boy who really loves people! Paco is very curious about his new surroundings and he is a busy boy and will do well with anything he sets his mind to! He walks very well on the lead, which is good as he will need a lot of walking. He may have never lived in a home so might need house training. Paco will need exercise for both mind and body, could you give him the home he deserves?

01-12-14 This handsome 2 year old cross breed is Francky. Francky is a great boy who was rescued from a kill shelter in Portugal hours before he was marked to be put to sleep. Now this lucky lad is in the UK looking for a second chance at life. Portugal is one of the worst countries in Europe with dog abandonment, cruelty and mistreatment. 30,000 dogs a year who were used to being taken care of and socialized, are discarded by their owners to the streets or kill shelters - 100,000 healthy adoptable dogs a year are put to sleep in Portugal. Despite all this he is confident and loves other dogs and humans! A bit shy in his new situation but a new family for him to settle with and he will shine brighter than ever before. He does need a bit of socializing and training and will probablu need to learn about house training but what you put in you will get back ten fold. Do you have room in your life for this adorable chap?

02-12-14 Chica is a gorgeous 2 year old Podengo Cross girl with big loving eyes. This sweet little thing was saved from a kill shelter in Portugal right before she was due to be put to sleep. Based on her lovely and friendly personality Chica was definitely used to living with an owner before. Although we don't know her story, we do know she now has a second chance to find a great home that will give her the best life has to offer. Portugal has one of the worst dog mistreatment, abandonment and cruelty issues in Europe. 30,000 dogs a year are abandond by their owners to the streets or kill shelters and over 100,000 healthy adoptable dogs are put to sleep every year. Chica is affectionate and walks well on a lead but may need house training. She is super friendly with people good with dogs and a ray of pure sunshine!

02-12-14 Foxy Boy is a 3 year old cross breed boy who was rescued from a kill shelter in Portugal, a country where 30,000 dogs a year are abandoned by their owners. Poor Foxy Boy was left at a kill shelter by his owner because he was moving to Germany and could not take Foxy Boy with him.We have stepped in and offered to protect him and several other dogs from being put to sleep. Foxy Boy is a bouncy little boy who loves cuddles. He is a friendly chap who can walk on a lead and already knows how to sit. He really is a delightful boy.

02-12-14 Jess is a 5 year old Collie who, along with Meg had an exceptionally tough time recently and is so deserving of a very special home. They, through no fault of their own has been locked away on a farm for much of the time as their owner was ill. Jess and Meg are delightful collies who love people. They are not at all dependant on each other's company so can be rehomed separately. Jess walks on a lead and is good with other dogs. She has a lovely nature and would love to go to an active home where there is another kind resident dog for company who can help show her the ropes and introduce her to living as a family pet and this will help her with house training should she need to learn. We believe Jess is already spayed and do not want to put her through an unnecessary operation. However if this turns out not to be the case we will spay her free of charge as long as she comes back to Many Tears for this to be done.

02-12-14 Harriet is an 18 month old cross breed who was rescued from a kill shelter in Portugal where her time was up. This young lady was lucky to get out alive. Portugal puts to sleep 100,000 healthy, adoptable dogs each year and 30,000 dogs are abandoned by their families, left to fend for themselves alone on the streets. Many die or end up being caught and taken to kill shelters where their death is inevitable. Harriet walks on a lead although she can be quite strong. She is very playful and loves to be cuddled. She enjoys meeting new people and is a very happy girl. She could be an only dog in the right circumstances but she may need house training and would learn faster with another dog to copy. She would also need to be gradually built up to being left as she has always had canine company. We believe Harriet is already spayed and do not want to put her through an unnecessary operation. However if this turns out not to be the case we will spay her free of charge as long as she comes back to Many Tears for this to be done.
