14-10-2014 Dunlop is a gorgeous 3 month beardie. He arrived here from a breeder with his two brothers. He is a little reserved at the moment but is already starting to show his true colours. He has never been separated from his brothers so will need puppy training classes to ensure his social skills with new dogs comes along. Puppy training classes will be required to ensure his social skills improve and he must be neutered at 6 months. He could be homed as an only dog but only with an experienced beardie owner, otherwise a confident resident doggy role model would ensure his fast development and Dunlop would settle into home life much more easily.

15-10-2014 Ickle is a two year old yorkie cross who has come to us from a breeder. She is very worried to find herself here as she has never been away from the place she was born. She doesn't currently walk on a lead so needs a resident dog to show her the ropes of being a dog in a home! This will also help her learn about house training and raise her confidence around humans. She is a lovely girl who is happy to be handled but is unsure of new situations. An experienced owner who understands scared dogs will be required to bring her out of her shell and one without very young children who she would find very scary.

15-10-2014 - Itcia is a lovely 4 year old ex-breeding lhasa apso who is need of some TLC. She is wary of new situations and if backed in to a corner can react negatively. However once used to you she takes comfort from cuddles!! Due to this we are looking for an experienced owner willing to spend the time and work on her nerves to encourage her to relax. A home with a resident doggy role model is a must for Itcia and this will help her learn and house training and improve skills such as lead walking. This is a new world for Itcia and one which she is finding quite scary and worrying so kind and patient owners are needed.

16-10-2014 Jollie is a 2 year old female Dogue De Bordeaux. Jolie has been returned to us due to a change in her owners health and through no fault of her own. Jolie is a delightful young lady who loves water and enjoys splashing through puddles!
.....Jollie does not like to be left on her own and if possible will escape the garden to find you, so high fencing is a must. She loves other dogs and is incredibly waggy when she sees another dog. Jolie is said to be good around cattle and horses and has lived with a cat, although will try to chase a cat out on walks, just for fun!
.....Jolie loves her food and is slightly over weight. Jollie does not like small furriers so a home with out is best, Jollie loves her walks so be prepared for up to 2 hours at a time so and active home is essential especially if she is to keep her girlish figure. This is one special lady who will be looking for a special home.

16-10-14 Orchid is 1 year old kelpie cross who has very sadly come back to Many Tears. She was first adopted as a puppy but Many Tears took her back after discovering all was not right in her new home. She was adopted again but sadly this time Yorkie cross who is the head dog of this pack decided she did not want Orchid there at all & nipped & bullied her repeatedly. After 3 months Orchid gave up trying to appease & reacted to the constant bullying. A couple of incidents like this occurred without any change of attitude from the Yorkie & after advice from other dog savvy people her distraught owners made the very painful choice to return Orchid.
.....Orchid is now spending her first night with me & my dog Billy. On one hand her behaviour indicates past victimisation - the best form of defence being teeth bearing, rapid barking at one-and-all with low slung body and a (empty) threat of a lunge which we both respond to by freezing, head turned away - until she realises Billy's excitement didn't mean he, and I as his pack mate, were going to attack her. On the other hand, Orchid shows periods of inherent puppy like confidence! These mixed signals, combined with her reactivity need to be addressed. In just one afternoon Bill & I have gently guided & soothed her into a relaxed & trusting state of mind. I am confident that together we can bring out the happy go lucky adolescent in her. I will be giving her one-on-one agility training & such like for now as currently she equates excited dogs with attacking dogs and recent bite marks on her legs and side of head explain why she does so!

16-10-2014 Peaches is a 7 year old ex-breeding Cavalier King Charles. Peaches is a nervous girl who does not yet walk on the lead but with the help of another dog and time will learn. Peaches loves a cuddle but is a little jumpy in new situations. Peaches has never lived in a home and this will be quite scary for her at first. She will need another friendly dog to help her settle in and this will also help her with house training and give her confidence. She will love a home with another kind and gentle cav. 17-10-14 Sam is a beautiful 6 yr old male Cavalier that has been given up from a home through no fault of his own. He is a quiet, calm soul and is a little overwhelmed at losing his home. He would prefer a home to match his personality with someone who is around most of the time but can be left for reasonable periods of time. He is living with other dogs but would be happy as an only dog or with another calm dog. Sam loves children and is very happy to be fussed by my 4 year old and my 6 year old. He is clean in the house and non destructive. He has met my cat and greeted her very politely but when she moved he did chase her but only out of curiosity.

17-10-2014 Megan is a 1 year old female collie. Megan has come to us as she will not work the sheep but would rather play with them. Megan is timid initially but soon wants to become friends. Megan can walk on the lead but gets a little worried about new noises. Megan will need a collie experienced home which is interested in giving her the exercise and training she will need and maybe would want to start agility or fly ball. She will not have lived in a house before so she will need to learn all about housetraining etc too. One of Megan's attractive points is that is she is very good around stock. This stunning girl will be very popular so please apply quickly.

19-10-14 Shadie is a 1 year old magnificent clever lively lab who has been returned. Shadie has come back to us as she has been chasing her previous owners cat, getting out of a garden and sometimes being destructive.
.....Shadie is a very clever and busy and good looking lab. She of the working lab type, and is very rewarding to train, however she is also busy and will need a very active owner who wants to enjoy and use her brains energy and enthusiasm. If left to get up to her own devices and not relaxed enough she can be destructive and naughty. As far as her temperaments concerned she is lovely here.
.....Please only apply if you are happy to help her reach her full potential, and have the time and stamina to help her enjoy life. Shadie needs a secure garden with 6 foot fencing, training, time and love and no cat or other small furries to chase please.

19-10-14 Ronnie is a 4 month old yorkie. He is a standard size yorkie who is full of fun and kisses. Sadly he has not had the best of starts as he already had had a few homes. His last home was given him as a present, but sadly they found him rather demanding and not house trained. We were told he loves to play and barks quite a lot. To us he is a typical pup who needs direction training time and stability. He will make a great addition to a family with the time to help him blossom. He will need puppy socialization classes, and a course of dog training classes, some one in most of the day, a garden and a whole lot of love.

19-10-2014 Autumn is a 8 year old ex - breeding Westie girl. Although just a beginner on the lead this sweet and quiet confident girl will soon learn. Autumn is a little deaf and has a large lump on her abdomen which we will be monitoring. This lovely lady is so people friendly and in the right circumstances where someone was at home the majority of the time could be an only dog, she would suit an older person who does not want a very active dog.
