08-11-2016 Sibble is a 15 month old female Schnauzer who has been given to us by her breeder to find a forever home. She is a beautiful girl who is quite nervous and is going to need a lot of TLC. She is good with all the other dogs she has met here and is much happier when with other dogs. She will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her get used to the sights and sounds of everyday life and give her some confidence. She will have never lived in a home before and will need help with housetraining and this will be easier if she can follow the example of a resident dog. At the moment Sibble is too unsure to walk on a lead but as she gains trust in us we will start to introduce it to her. Sibble is going to need a patient owner who is prepared to invest time, love and patience to help her become a happy family pet. She is only young so it shouldn't take her long to come round. If you can offer her the home that she really deserves then please apply as soon as possible and help her to take the next step into a better life.

06-11-2016 Zumba is a 3 year old female Jack Russell cross who has been rescued from a pound on her very last day, no one claimed her and she was going to be put to sleep. She is a dear little girl who is very grateful for any love given to her and we are sure she will make a great companion. She is good with other dogs and may benefit from a friendly resident dog in her new home to show her the ropes but in the right circumstances we would consider homing her as an only dog. If this was the case you would need to be sympathetic to her needs and understand that it may take longer for her to be house trained and settle into her new life. She may never have lived in a house before so this will be very new to her. She is a beginner on the lead but we are sure she will soon be enjoying walkies. If you feel that you have the time and love to welcome this beautiful girl into your home, she will make a wonderful companion, please complete an application form.

08/11/16 This handsome 1 year old Siberian Husky has come to us through no fault of his own. Storm is house-trained, sleeps quietly through the night, and is learning to get along peacefully with the other dogs here - large and small, male and female. He is strong on the lead but has already made progress in just a week, and can now be walked in a group with other dogs. He has spent his life so far living as an only dog in a family with children, and he now needs a confident and experienced husky owner who will set rules and deliver consistency and give him the time, attention and exercise he needs, aware that he has already proved to have another typical Husky talent as an escape artist. Storm will make a wonderful family companion for some lucky family or individual.

10-11-16 Bertie is a 10 month old male cross breed. Bertie was taken off the streets as a young puppy and has clearly been through some trauma as he is absolutely terrified. The wonderful people from Swindon Pound contacted us in desperation as his time was up. We do not know why he is so terriefied but he is and the pound told us he is really scared by a lead - and will cower and wet himself.
Bertie is very unsure of new surroundings and untrusting of new people. He hasn't been socialised with humans or dogs but one of our members of staff has been working closely with him and he has now started to trust her. Once he gets to know you he is an affectionate boy, who enjoys snuggling up to you and likes to give kisses. However we are looking for an adult only experienced home without visiting children that has had extremely scared rescue dogs before. Humans have done this to him so let's restore his faith in us and lets show him that there are some wonderful people out there.
Bertie is a favourite with us and staff have been working very hard with him and has been here for some time before being added onto the website. He needs to learn about the outside world, walking on a lead and house training but he loves chicken and so that will be a useful training aid.

10-11-2016 Toney is a 3 year old male Shih Tzu who has been given to us by his breeder to find a forever home. He is a very nervous little boy who would prefer to run away and who can blame him, he has had difficult start to life and needs to learn to trust people. At the moment he is not used to being handled but we will spend time to help him get used to human contact. Toney needs a quiet adult only home as he would find children too scary at the moment, with people who are experienced with frightened dogs. He is going to need a lot of time, love and patience to help him get used to living in a home. He will find it very strange and frightening to live in a home so will need a kind resident dog or dogs to help him get used to the sights and sounds of home life, he gets on great with other dogs and loves the company of his kennel mates. He will not be house trained and will have no idea about walking on a lead. He will need patient owners who will help him to come round in his own time.

She will have never lived in a home before and will need help with housetraining and this will be easier if she can follow the example of a resident dog.
