This post is quite old now, are people visiting this site still considering hearing dogs when looking for homes for their dogs? I can't see any recent mentions of donations or appeals? My friend has a hearing dog and it is fantastic but I have spoken to someone who has waited over 3 years and he says it's because of a shortage of dogs

I do know that they have contacted a lot of rescues to see if they have a calm, bomb proof, child friendly dog for their latest project which is to provide hearing impaired children with a hearing dog.
