I'm posting this as a friend of my Dad is looking for a new dog following loosing their much loved Westie.
I spoke to my Dads friend this morning and heis interested in a the posssibility of giving a rescue doggie a home - the wife is just as keen to go and buy a breeder bought pup so I'm keen to offer some suggestions fairly quickly. They are a youngish retired couple, active and have plenty of time - they walk their friends dogs (friendly labs passed the very young and a little annoying stage) while they are at work so need a dog that is fine with other dogs. They are lovely people who adored their westie. They really are just looking for an uncomplicated doggie that wil be fine with other dogs and fine wit people. When I asked his requitements he said, small, cute probabaly a bit fluffy and doesn't want to eat me Also they are not far from Swindon and don;t want to have to travel too far and are looking to get something fairly soon as the wife is pretty lost without a doggie. I don;t know them personally but my Dad has talked ablut them a lot and they sound lovely and they are close enough that I could do a homecheck if required. Any pointers would be grateully recieved. -------------------- |

How about the gorgeous Diesel. He is a bit of a mixed crossbreed, he is a bit of everything looks a bit like a JRT but more the size of a spaniel. His cute feature is his curly tail. He isn't fluffy but he does have a gorgeous soft puppy coat (he is 7 months old).
He is a lovely friendly guy and loves lots of cuddles and also to run around with other dogs. If you have any questions about them I will aim to answer them as I am fostering him http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...t&p=3786153 |
