Tibbs (or Tiberious if you want to use his sunday name!) is a 2 year old yellow lab and is currently on foster in Blackwood, South Wales.
The Tibbs Fact File Dog status: Very good Cat status: Good with the confident cats in his foster home Child status: Good but he is a big, clumsy boy so not recommended with children under 8 years House training: Couple of accidents when he first arrived but now very clean Home alone: Has been left for a few hours and been fine. Has always had canine company when left by his foster home Basic training: Tibbs will sit, stay or wait for food, and knows off to stop him jumping on your lap ![]() Tibbs is a big, handsome puppy.....noone appears to have told him he is 2 years old! He is a fun loving, affectionate, biddable dog who adores people and other dogs. He will make a wonderful addition to an active and loving new family. Tibbs is good with children however, he is not overly aware of his size and weight and therefore we do not feel he would be suitable with youngsters. He could be rehomed with children over the age of 8 who are used to dogs. ![]() Tibbs is happy to meet dogs and is very polite when he does. He has met lots of different dogs of all ages and sexes no issue and is living in a mixed pack in his foster home. He can be vocal when playing with another vocal dog. Tibbs can be rehomed with canine company or as the only dog if he has a lot of human company. ![]() Tibbs was at first very unsure of the cats in his foster home at first and would back away from them. Now he is happy to let them walk up to or past him and he will sniff them, he is not bothered by them now and ignores them. His foster cats are very confident around dogs so he is not tested with what may happen with a nervous cat. ![]() Tibbs had one or two accidents when he first arrived in his foster home from kennels. He quickly started to use a dog flap, any new home would need to spend time showing him the ropes if there is no flap. ![]() All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered (if over 6 months), vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and micro-chipped prior to adoption. If a puppy is not old enough to be neutered then this must be carried out at the owner’s expense when old enough, and the relevant form completed by the vet and returned to Hope Rescue. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk -------------------- Kat
