Hi folks
None of this when our beloved retriever Shona passed on at 14 years, this was in 1990 and the trauma for my daughters and the fact my wife was going back into full ti  me employment meant having a dog was not practical.But, my missus has now taken early retirement, a neighbour who's friend passed on suddenly, left wee Chico a smashing wee black Lakeland homeless, the family put him into Cardonald cat and dog  , Davie our neighbour on finding this out rescued wee Chico  , but his current charge Pepsi got a bit  .Davie spoke to one of my daughters who called her mum who then called me. Davie brought Chico round, my missus' eyes lit up  and Chico was instantly adopted.Two weeks later, a checkout from the vet and a makeover Chico has settled in and we don't know how on earth we managed over twenty years without a dog in the house, life is complete again  . |
