We would like to offer a loving home to a black retriever / retriever x collie. We have had these dogs before. They are beautiful and fit right in. I work from home so am in all the time.
We have a king Charles spaniel at the moment that loves any dog.
The grandchildren pop in from time to time so child friendly would be great.
We are willing to take an older dog if needed maybe around 4 to 6 years old.
I live in Cheshire near Crewe.
Iv already contacted the breed rescues and am just waiting for a reply on here or via email.

Bess looks a great dog and almost exactly what we are looking for but she is just too far away for us to travel.
Thank you so much for your help. You are on the right track :-)

'Coltriever' is the kennel name of a lady breeding golden retriever / collie crosses- some are black and some are golden coloured.

A golden retriever /collie cross has a very different temperament from a Flatcoat retriever.

I had one as my first dog and he was a great all round dog which is why I'm looking for another :-).
It's proving hard but they are around for the next 10 or so years so it's worth it.

Any ideas where I can find one?
