The day we had all been dreading came today. Lovely Mabel started to cry out in pain this morning from the horrid osteosarcoma she has been fighting so bravely.
At 12 O'clock the vet came to our home and she very peacefully went on her journey to the bridge. One week short of her 3rd gotcha day, she has been the most amazing little fire cracker to live with and to have the honour of calling ours. I hope she can run like the wind and drive that tour bus around the bridge picking up all our bridge babies for one heck of an adventure. Thank you all for loving and caring about her even though most of you have never met her. Its meant a great deal to us. Mabel you were the light of our lives and we are all going to miss you, especially the boys     |
