Hello. It's been a long time since I was here regularly. I did try coming back in November last year as my original account, Angela Fletcher, but since its so long and I can no longer get into the email associated with that account, I made a new one, and here I am.
I'm 'Mum' to four lovely dogs that a lot may remember, George, the black schnauzer, now ageing disgracefully, Tramp, the fuzzy terrier/collie? crossbreedy darling from Egar 8 years ago, Ivy the ex breed bitch Scottie girl from Many Tears of indeterminate age and Dilys the naughty princess Cesky Terrier. We are based in Hampshire. A sad day for me. Our darling Tramp, the original Irish scrounge-hound, is rapidly declining with cancer, and will be heading to the bridge this afternoon, and my sadness has brought me to seek out like minded folk as comfort. As I type he is lying on the lawn in the sun, with George. I'm so glad it's a nice day for him. He always has adored warm Spring days. Forgive my 'intro' being a sorry one. |

Thanks guys. Its silly things that are hitting me.. the empty bowl at mealtimes, no nose nudging my idle hand into fussing him when I sit down, but I know it was the right thing to do.

Welcome back, and sorry it's under such sad circumstances. I hope Tramp's passing was swift and peaceful... it sounds like his last day was a lovely one. My thoughts are with you.
