This lovely man is Fergus.
![]() Fergus has come to Phoenix Dog Rescue as his family is immigrating and are unable to take him with them. Fergus is a fantastic little man. He is fine with other dogs and fine with people of all ages and sizes! Fergus is good on walks and is a fun and playful little man. His foster mum says he is perfect! Fergus is an 18 month old Shih Tzu boy. He has had good basic training and socialization. He is an affectionate little boy. Fergus is still young, so would not like to be left on his own for long hours. He would be fine as an only dog-but wouldn't mind a friend to play with either. ***Important Bits-Please Read***PDR spay/neuter, vaccinate, worm and microchip all dogs prior to rehoming. All prospective homes are vetted, and a donation to the rescue is required. PDR will NOT rehome dogs under 2 years to full time working homes, NOR to homes where they would be kenneled outside. PDR will NOT rehome dogs to a home where an existing dog is not spayed/neutered. What we WILL do is treat each dog as an individual. Age, temperment and any issues a dog may have are considered when looking at home offers. For puppies being rehomed out of the NW area please make sure you are aware of the cost of neutering as this will be compulsary when the dog reaches six months. Anyone who knows they can offer Fergus the type of loving, commited forever home he needs can call Dawn on 07929 251244 . No calls after 9pm please. ![]() Fergus is is Fostercare with Catherine....who will be on with more photos and information. -------------------- Phoenix Dog Rescue

This is my favourite photo of Fergus to date
![]() Just look at that tail wag Fergus arrived here last week, and I have to say he has been pretty much the perfect guest for one so young. He is housetrained (although if not let out first thing in the morning he might have an accident .. only a tiny wee though). He loves the other dogs, they aren't so fond of him because he is young and exuberant! Today he came on a street collection and met lots of new people, young and old and was in his element. Tonight he is exhausted. I can't imagine that he will be waiting long and whoever gets him will be very lucky. But so will he, because you will be his perfect home who can never imagine giving up on him in the future. -------------------- When you rescue a dog, you gain a heart for life

Not with me, but if he did I imagine he would treat them as he does everything else, something to have a jolly good play and bark with/at!
