If you are interested in adopting Tirion please read about our re homing process
http://www.friendsoftheanimalsrct.org.uk/a...oradoption.html and complete a Pre Adoption form (link below) and Katherine or Pauline will contact you for a chat http://www.friendsoftheanimalsrct.org.uk/dogadopt.html Name: Tirion Age: 7 years Breed: Ruby Cavalier Can I live with Children: Yes older Can I live with cats: Not tested but don’t see an issue Can I live with other dogs: Will only be rehomed with another dog Fostered In: Par, Cornwall Other Information: Tirion is a welsh word meaning kind, tender, gracious and gentle. Please meet the wonderful Tirion, who came into our care as an ex breeding bitch. This little Angel has a way to go re trust and confidence, But I am sure with lots of love and TLC she will get there Tirion is a delicate little soul who is very worried in the big wide world. She craves love and cuddles whenever she is in human company. Other dogs large or small she is not bothered about, and is confident with them but not overly submissive. She is clean in the house so far and loves to be in her crate where she feels relaxed and can sleep. Her fosterer has her wearing a very soft harness to start to get her used to it before she will be brave enough to go out for a walk We are looking for a very special home with another dog for company for this girl. A home who understand her needs and will give her all the time in the world she will need to settle and adjust to living in a home. Tirion has been neutered, chipped and is vaccinated until December 2012. She has been diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur which the vet feels is not currently causing her enough issues to be medicated, but this will be something that may be necessary in the future and should be kept in mind. ![]() ![]() |

Tirion is a wonderful little dog who has come on leaps and bounds since she has been in foster. I am delighted that after re-visiting the vet for a further check her heart murmur has now been graded at 4. Although this is still an area of concern it does improve the situation a little. The vet does not feel Tirion needs medication but this may be required at some point in the future.
