Hi guy's, lost our little parrot today at about 1pm. Our other parrot opened the cage door and he flew away : ( !
Please keep a look out for him, he is mostly green with a red belly, last seen around the North shore area of skeg. |

Sorry to hear that Kiwi is missing
Have you posted on the parrot forums? (Birdline UK has a great forum with many active members). You've probably already done this, but it would be worth contacting all the local vets / rescue centres / zoos etc. I'd also put posters up in your local area. Really hope that Kiwi comes home safe and sound soon x |

Please contact John Hayward (link above) He runs the parrot lost and found register. He will give you lots of help and advice. Try placing posters around busy areas like schools. It is known that many lost parrots will head towards noise - especially school playgrounds. Also try getting your local radio station to mention Kiwi on their show. Local papers may help by running an article for you. There is a parrot sanctuary in Skegness. May be worth contacting them in case they have had any reports of a sighting. http://www.parrotzoo.com/ Really hope Kiwi is back home where he belongs soon. |
