Car Harness Options

Good Morning As its 100% that young Lilly and I are embarking on a european trip this year, I am looking at a new dog car harness for her and was wondering if anyone has some good suggestions on what they use?

I would prefer one that does not sit straight behind the front legs so it won't rub.

So peeps of DP, any recommondations?

I bought my 4 this harness http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270655081285?var...984.m1423.l2649, they all seem really happy with it including 2 that don't like harnesses, they now are asking for it to be put on. The strap round the body isn't close to the elbow so doesn't rub. I use it for walking my dogs as well as in the car and it washes well.

Their previous harnesses were Game Dogs, they prefer these.

I've heard that ezy dog harnesses get a good name for comfort and they come with an attachment for use in the car. Don't have one myself, so not speaking from personal experience but thinking of trying one once my finances are a bit healthier I've been using a Hi-craft one for the past few years and it does the job, but probably a bit more basic than you're looking for.

I may be wrong but I think they can't advertise a harness as a car harness unless it has been crash tested. I bought some previously that were advertises as car harnesses, when I got them they were not up to standard and tried to send them back. It turned out it was a Chinese firm who didn't want them back, I told them they were advertising them as car harnesses and they were not suitable, they soon wanted them back.
