Hi all
Our first ever post here so be gentle. Please forgive the request but it appears to be the best way to get our information across a wide area. Over the last 30 years we have provided 2 rescued dogs with a loving family home. Both dogs were rescued from the RSPCA in Newport, Wales. First was Bos a Whippet Labrador cross who sadly left us in 1995, and Lucy a Springer Collie cross who also sadly left us in 2011. It feels wrong to make requests for rescuing a specific type and age of dog, as there are so many deserving cases but having rescued two wonderful dogs in the past we would like to make more of a choice this time. There is no logical reasoning for our desire to have a young Springer, it's just we have come to love the breed. I hope that it is not wrong to make such a request! Simply, all we would like is to provide a loving home for a healthy English Spaniel, under 12 months old. We are prepared to take a pair of Springer's if necessary as we would prefer not to break up a happy relationship. We have an older family so child friendly is not an issue but would be desirable. We have a large garden but also live on the outskirts of Newport so walks in the country are almost part of everyday life. We will travel throughout the UK to view if necessary. We can buy Springer Spaniel puppies but would prefer to rescue a dog needing a loving home. Please feel free to pass my details to other rescue groups to help with my request. Please do not pass my details for sales purposes. Kindest Regards Martin and Linda |

You will need to apply directly to Many Tears. I think there is an application to download on the website. If I remember rightly it will be under the picture of the dog you are interested in.
Good luck |

Thanks Bunt.
Didnt want to apply without additional information on Del Boy. I contacted the centre for more info which was helpful. Del Boy is not for us as we are looking for an English Sringer Spaniel under 12mths. I wish him luck with getting a new home soon. We are still looking but thanks for your help so far. |
