At the college i work at we have a big open day each year (Reaseheath College, Nantwich) and we are trying to do some new things this year so we are holding a discover dogs type event consisting of rescue stalls, Good Cits demos, public novelty show, masterclass training sessions, agility equipment where people can have a go and also we want to try and get a range of breeds so people can see examples of breed.
Just wondering if anyone lived nearby to Nantwich Cheshire and may be able to show off their dogs for some of the day as a breed example- only requirement is that they have to be good with strange people fussing Obviously breed rescues are more than welcome, and we would alos like any dog rescues that would like a stall/stand to get in touch and we can book everyone in! Anyone taking part will get a free family pass for the day – and get to talk about their dog to the public all day! The event itself is really popular and there is lots for the family to do- zoo to walk around, equine displays, floristy, agriculture etc so you will see lots of other things besides dogs! If anyone is able to help please pm me- all breeds welcome! |

The original post said May 13th
I wish it was nearer, I'd love to come and show off Remy and Paige (fawn and red dobes) but it's too far away |

May be something I could come along to with some trailhounds.
What about a 'rescue' stall that dp'ers could run with an assortment of mixed breeds and rescue dogs? -------------------- www.trailhoundwelfare.org.uk

What time is the open day from and until?
We'd love to bring our English Bull terriers for a fuss but also have a kiddies party to get to in the afternoon. |
