JIM
![]() Jim (aged 4) came to us a very sad little boy, having had a traumatic past at the hands of his previous owners. He has settled in well though and is now very much ready to be rehomed. He recently spent a weekend in a foster home to give us a better idea of how he would be in a home and the results were truly amazing!! Jim certainly did himself proud and he is very much ready to leave his past behind him and start a lovely new life in a home with people who will adore him and let his true, wonderful personality shine through. Jim needs a new beginning more than anything in the world and we hope we can find it for him as soon as possible. We don't want him to waste a single more minute of his life behind a kennel door. He has so much to give, he just needs someone to share it with.....could this be YOU please???? ![]() Here is what his foster mum (for the weekend) said about him..... "Jim is an absolutely amazing dog and we can't speak highly enough of him. We hope you like his photos, we wanted to show how loving he is for a dog who has had such a bad start in life, he is remarkable. 1. Temperament - He absolutely loved lying and being cuddled. He would cover your face with kisses all the time. He loved having his tummy tickled. He is without a doubt one of the most loving dogs I have met. He loved you having a chat with him and being silly. 2. Food - not food possessive, allowed us to take his dinner off him mid-way through, take his bone off him and put our hands in his food when he was eating. There were no issues at all. He responded well to 'gentle' when taking treats. 3. Walking - walked well on the lead. We used a lead that clipped onto his collar and he walked MUCH better and didn't pull. We live next to a nature reserve which he went round lots. He seemed to enjoy walking around the estate more though as there were lots of things for him to sniff! 4. Toileting - he quickly picked up going to the patio door or getting our attention so he could go out. He is definitely toilet trained once he remembers what to do. 5. He was inquisitive and liked exploring the house. Stairs were no issue for him. 6. He has been free to roam the house with us, he wasn't destructive at all and responded well to all commands. 7. Showering - Jim had a shower and this went OK. His coat looks lovely. I brushed him lots and he loved this. He would roll round to make sure I could do him all over. 8. Jim travels very well in the car, loves to look out of the window and then goes to sleep. To sum him up he is just amazing. He is a delight and a pleasure to have in your home. The right people would have an amazing dog with Jim and very little work." ![]() ![]() Well, I don't really think I could add much more to that, do you???? He is a fantastic little dog and certainly deserves a whole heap of happiness now. Jim has been neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He can live with older children and would prefer to be the only dog as he definitely deserves all the attention for himself now. He can be rehomed outside of the county subject to a successful homecheck. PLEASE CONSIDER JIM IF YOU CAN, if you feel passionately about rescuing a dog and changing their lives forever then Jim is your boy! If you want to give him chance to know true happiness then please get in touch with us as soon as possible, we would love to hear from you...AND SO WOULD JIM! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() He is waiting very patiently for his perfect family to get in touch... ![]() Thank you from us all.
