Hi I have a gorgeous border collie that needs a new home . I have had taffy since a pup and he is a very intelligent dog that is full of energy . The reason for rehoming is due to a job change for me - I now work shifts and poor taf isn't getting the walks or the company he needs , this has resulted in him getting bored , and frustratred which is why I have made decision to rehome him.
He enjoys walks usually gets tired after about 2 or 3 miles these days , he gets on really well with other dogs my sister has a poodle who he is fine with. He loves playing fetch and loves going for walks on the beach or by lakes so he can go in the water. He has been neutered and has all his injections and kennel cough meds within last 3 mths . Last vet check he was considered very healthy especially his teeth ! He eats just working dog dries food ( very cheap!) just one meal a day. He would be best homed without young children as even tho I have 2 he likes to round them up which can be a bit scary ! Please get in touch if you can help - anyone who wishes to adopt will have to be subject to a house check too many dog baiters out there!!! I am now looking after Taffy and trying to help find him a lovely home while we wait for a space to hopefully become free for him at Border Collie Spot if the right home doesnt get offered beforehand. I Am in regular touch with his mum, and he is settling in well with us in Carmarthenshire
 He is gorgeous  and if you are looking for a more mature but still active boy that is no trouble at all then Taffy is the one. Ive gradually got him used to being around my 4, and he is respectful and reserved with them. He has only barked when wanting to play ball. he'll happily play for a while then sit in the garden and watch the world go by. He's good on the lead, good in the car, likes his sleep, and is wanting to be active without being hyper. He does seem a bit hard of hearing at times and I make sure he sees me before I touch him to avoid making him jump.  I can only find one negative thing to say and that is he does like a nice roll in fox poo  I do hope we can find him the perfect home Im already in love with this lovely collie boy |

This sounds like it could be a good dog for me. I live in Wales near Dolgellau and am looking for an older dog for company especially on walks. Please let me know where and when I can see him.
