Poor Blizzard has been given by his devestated and heartbroken owner who had owned him since he was a 12week old bundle of fluff. He very sadly lost his home and has spent 2months living with his 2 dogs in his van. His health problems has meant time has run out and he realised he has no option but to say goodbye to both his dogs. RSPCA refused to help so he begged for our help. We also have Blizzards 'sister' who is going on trial this weekend. Shes been with us for two weeks before Blizzard as she couldnt cope with the minus 7 degrees temps.
Bliz is about 6/7yrs old and is a big soft bear of a dog. A lil overweight as hes not had much exercise recently living in the van so he's having lots of walks to get him in shape. Good with dogs, people and rare for a husky...... Blizzard is great off his lead. He is a total mud monster and is straight in every puddle! He also walks fantastically onlead:-) Meet my big bear ![]() ![]() ![]() We are fostering Blizzard for Heswall animal welfare. He is neutered This post has been edited by dawnhughes: 17th Feb 2012, 7:54 pm |

Thanks that is really appreciated ;-)
Blizzard has never lived with children but he attracts attention from children where ever we go and likes a good stroke. Can't say what he would be like with toddlers I am afraid ... Again horses I don't think he has ever met but he is a very chilled out dog so think he would be fine after the initial intros. There are some horses at our local woods in fields so will take him in the week to gage his reaction. |

Just found out blizzard has lived with children in the past but I think it would be best due to his size that he went with older kids
