We have looking for homes for 5 lab x Foxhound their birthday is 9th March when they will be one... All five of them were born at a Riding Stables - they had a lovely life would spend their days in the yard meeting the riders and children that came for lessons - chasing the feral cats off the property and spend the evenings in the kitchen by the aga before retiring to the barn for sleep time... This life has come to an end unfortunately at the stables due to it having to close - their owner is heart broken but can only take 1 dog to the rented accommodation so has taken their mother she has promised to have her spayed. These dogs have been wonderfully looked after and are in fantastic condition - they are very well socialized with adults, children and other dogs big and small as well as horses. They are actually very gentle affectionate dogs and seem to have more of the lab character although they look more hound they are not noisy like hounds can be- they seem to be clean in the house but will have to be reinforced as at bed time they would sleep in a barn.. With regards to exercise they have always been exercised in an enclosed yard/paddock so will need leading training and recall. They love to play with each other and the other dogs but are equally happy to chill once they have had their run - we would say they quite like being lazy as long as they have had their exercise. All in all beautiful gentle dogs who will make lovely pets - they are going to prefer a home where there are other dogs in it with a couple of lovely long walks a day and plenty of chill time on the sofa -
Please bear in mind these dogs are in a rescue in South Wales. All potential homes will be vetted. The dog will be spayed, vaccinated and micro chipped before they go... If you are interested please email for a potential adoption questionnaire... theminnicans@dsl.pipex.com ![]() ![]() ![]() |
