Harvey is a 5 month old lab cross collie and is currently on foster in Cardiff.
The Harvey Fact File Dog status: Very good Cat status: Very good Child status: Very good, can be rehomed with children aged 5 plus House training: Not 100% just yet Home alone: Ok for short periods which are building slowly due to his age. Not suitable for full time worker. Basic training: Learning the ropes, has begun to attend puppy class with his foster carer ![]() Harvey is a lovely, bubbly bouncy pup. He is well socialised and friendly and is growing up in to a well rounded member of society! He is good with other dogs and is living in a foster home with two others and he has been good with dogs he has met out on walks. He is also good with cats and could be rehomed with feline company. Careful introductions would need to be made as he may chase at first but he will settle down and be gentle. Harvey is friendly and confident with people. He loves children and is good for them to handle. ![]() Harvey is looking for an active home who will gradually build his exercise appropriately for his age. Harvey will need to continue his training and taking him to further classes is strongly recommended. he is an intelligent dog and will relish mental stimulation and potentially a sport such as agility. His one small vice is he loves a good chew so remote controls, shoes, tissues etc have to be kept out of his way meaning a new owner need to puppy proof the house. He will need good quality chew toys and activity toys that food can be placed inside to keep his mouth and brain active while he is teething. Harvey would like someone who is home for the best part of the day and any time he spends alone would need to build gradually due to his age. ![]() All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk -------------------- Kat
