Has she tried The Cinnamon Trust?
They sometimes have left behind dogs who just need a quiet home to retire to. They are not a rescue but a charity who helps elderly people who need help with their pets and often when a person dies they will take on the care of the left behind pet. It is classed as long term fostering so they foot the bills etc. Cinnamon Trust |

Hello,
I am not sure if you have had any luck in your search? As soon as I read your ad, it stuck in my mind as a possible positive opportunity for everyone. This said parting with my pets is a difficult decision for me and rather than rush in to anything and act immediately, I decided to speak those close to me and in addition I wanted to run things by my vet for her opinion. The delay in my response is due to the fact that my vet was away from the practice on holiday and upon her return we subsequently missed catching one another a few times on the phone. I have now spoken to her, and as a result feel that it would be a good idea (if you were willing) for you and I to speak properly on the telephone regarding the suitability of a possible forever match? This way we can both explore our options thoroughly and ask one another questions and include your mums views etc. I would appreciate it if you could please get back to me either way to let me know whether you are still looking or not. As you will appreciate you wish to do right by your Mum and I wish to do right by my furry friends as they mean everything to me. The opportunity for both of us to explore things thoroughly means my suggestion to chat seems the best way forward for both of us. I am maintaing the welfare of my dogs as paramount importance, and my love for them second. This is why I feel it would benefit both of us to ensure any potential rehoming was a permanent and viable decision for all concerned. I look forward to hearing from you one way or another, and hopefully speak to you soon. Many thanks for your time |
