Reuben's birthday is 31/12/07, he has just celebrated his 5th birthday and there is a pic of him with his cake and present...He lives with a female cat of 9yrs and a male cat of 2yrs old, but if outside the house he sees another cat will chase it as its not family!!

He has been castrated and had jabs for the first 2yrs of his life but these have not been kept upto date. He was taken to puppy training in the early stages of being a pup and learnt to sit, lie down and roll over on command, but that is as far as we got with him. He goes for walks on an extending lead and has to have a chain one connecting from this to his collar, otherwise he will chew through the nylon lead bit!! He can be let off the lead in an open field where there are no other dogs and loves chasing birds and hares and will come back when called and told to 'Wait' till his leads back on..

But he is a staffie and very stubborn at times and has a mind of his own to just run. He is temperamental when meeting other dogs on walks . I have 5 children ages from 1yr,3yr,9yr,14yr and 17yrs so he is used to them and enjoys their company... But would recommend he be rehomed with children from the age of 8yrs up, purely as he has grown up with our kids and will need quiet to adjust to his new home which can be difficult with very young children. He has been used to sleeping on the childrens or my beds through the day and puts himself to bed upstairs on our beds at night time. He has a dog bed and will go to it if told. He has been allowed to sit on armchairs and sofas to. He has a Dentastix chew in the morning along with 2/3 Bonio biscuits daily with a wet food meal at 4-5pm. He loves playing chase and will play with toys...And pick up items of ours and proudly parade around the house with them in his mouth till you say hello and praise him. He loves sitting on your feet and resting and will quite happily lick your bare feet too..Strange , but he likes it!!! He is a very loving gentle (But powerful) staffie and just needs a loving happy home like he has now... :0)
