Posted on behalf of Scottish Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue.
 Shadow is a male Staffie, almost 6 years old urgently looking for a foster or forever home He originally came from Mrs Murrays shelter in 2008. He is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. Shadow sleeps in his cage during the day if his owners are out and prefers to sleep in his cage at night too. He loves playing fetch with his frisbee and tennis ball and he really loves cuddles. Shadow is not very keen on other dogs, we think this is through fear from being bitten previously and with patience and training this could improve but he will need to be placed as an only dog. He is very good with food and will wait until he is offered, he is also very good at giving you his toys, he knows his basic commands and although he is excited to meet new people he does calm down quickly. Shadow would do really well in an active home where he could continue his training and socialisation. Update:
Shadow is currently living with a toddler. Shadow has had issues with other dogs in the past through being attacked by other dogs, we have recently found he has been socialising well and is regularly walked off lead with 2 jack russels and a husky x gsd. With careful introductions he may be placed as a second dog. |
