We have seven gorgeous Staffordshire Bull Terrier pups looking for new homes. Their mother Cassie was sadly handed into rescue whilst heavily pregnant, and has given birth to 5 girls and 2 boys, all with beautiful colouring and markings.

The pups will be ready to go to their new homes over the Christmas period, but applications are open now so that their new homes can be ready once they are old enough to leave.

We are looking for loving family homes for these pups, where someone will be around for most of the day, and who will commit to a programme of socialising and training that will ensure that they grow up into well rounded adults, who are good ambassadors for their breed. Anybody applying for these pups will need to be prepared to invest a large amount of both time & effort, particularly in the early days. Applications from full-time workers will therefore not be considered. They will need feeding four times a day, help with house-training and someone with eyes in the backs of their head due to the naturally inquisitive and playful nature of pups smile.gif You must also be prepared for a commitment of 15 years or so...

An Adoption fee of £180 will apply, which includes first vaccinations, and a puppy training course (local to the rescue). This money will also be used towards veterinary costs as well as helping to support other less fortunate rescue dogs in our care.

All suitable applicants will be home-checked, and it will be a strict requirement that the pups are neutered once old enough, and that they will attend puppy training classes. This will be followed up, as we want to ensure that these pups do not end up in the same position as their mother further down the line.

Dessie is a very sweet and pretty 2year old Terrier girl. She is looking for a home as her mum has now had to go back to full time employment, and felt it wasn't fair to leave her alone all day.

Dessie has moved into foster with 2 young children, a whippet x, & an elderly dachshund and is settling in really well. She is a very easy little girl, extremely affectionate and just loves to be with you. As soon as you sit down she has her paws on your lap, jumping up for a cuddle or rolling around for a belly rub, but is happy to share the attention with other dogs. She also travels well, walks nicely, is house-trained and meets people and other dogs very well.

She stands about 12" high, and is white with a little brown spot on one ear and beautiful dark eyes. Although 'rough' coated, she actually has quite a soft coat to the touch. She is also fantastic with children - having grown up around 0-12 year olds - not at all jumpy and happy to be picked up & fussed.

Dessie is deaf, but please donít let that put you of - deaf dogs can lead perfectly normal lives, are highly trainable, and Dessie will have adapted well to life in a quiet world smile.gif To be honest you probably wouldn't even realise especially as she is very people orientated - likes to follow you around & see what you are doing.

Dessie would be best homed with another dog, as she is not used to living alone. If you are interested in Dessie please let us know - she really is a very sweet little girl, not particularly 'busy' for a terrier; and will make someone a fantastic companion. wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif

Dessie is neutered, vaccinated & microchipped.
