I am trying to raise £500 for the Wonky Dogs at Friends of the Animals RCT. Wonky dogs are those that are in need of operations to save their life or make their life much better. Some threads about them here:
http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...=243806&hl= http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...=247057&hl= http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...=247976&hl= This is a 100 club: 100 squares at £2.Once I have sold all squares £100 is raised for FOA RCT and £100 is prize money of £50, £30 & £20. So you have approx: 1 in 33 chance of winning a prize To buy a square for £2, go to the website here : http://www.friendsoftheanimalsrct.org.uk/ Go to the forum and scroll down to the bottom of the page to get the Wonky Dog donate button. You may want to post this on FOA forum, as this is just to advertise the event

As I posted, this section is for Events, not for running any fundraising on. Please set it up on FOA forum, so there is no confusion.

I think maybe you dont understand, you are welcome to put this on FOA forum and use pms for people here to choose numbers but it cant really be a fundraiser run here because it isnt a swap, i dont think you asked permission and it is one of many for the same rescue so we dont object to the link but are asking you kindly to run on FOA forum. It will work exactly the same that way.

I think there has been confusion all round
I did ask permission (from Seths Servant then Bunter1) to run a 100 club and Bunter1 said yes. I put it in DP Swap Shop as this has been done before in a similar vein by Hope in Swap Shop; so thought thats where it should go. http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.ph...=239266&hl= Barb then moved it to Events and I was a bit I then PMd her to say it wasnt on the FOA forum as I didnt want to put it on the FOA forum cos the fundraising group I have is aiming to use their own friends and contacts rather than all try to use the forum. Hence why I asked on here. But on reading your post the penny has dropped as to what you were meaning: i.e. if I link it to the forum I can still get people on here but base it on the FOA Forum. Not exactly what I wanted as I thought it would be ok to run it in Swap Shop as Hope did but can appreciate what you are saying. |

We are so grateful to K9love for all the hard work she is doing helping our wonky animals. We have had two new ones in this week. An 8 week old Shih Tzu x Bichon pup called Pip who seems to have no sight at all and Sky a Cocker Spaniel with very little sight. Both are booked to visit the eye specialist on November 1st so please support her in her efforts to help them and the many others like them.

You can choose your numbers and pay on the FOA Forum:
http://www.friendsoftheanimalsrct.org.uk/ Go to the forum and then to the Wonky Dog fundraisers, about half way down the board under the Rottie cartoon image. This post has been edited by K9LOVE: 25th Oct 2011, 9:38 pm |
