Sadly John Robinson (JohnRLondon) lost his fight with cancer last night, with his wife Dee by his side.

John was very active in the dog rescue world, he was heavily involved in the CFIDOS campaign, the puppy love campaign and the fight against the DDA. He and his wife Dee were also very involved in the running of Rescue Remedies Dog Rescue and had fostered many dogs.

Anyone who had the fortune to meet John would know that he was truely a great man. He even spoke at a council meeting regarding Puppy farm dogs recently, despite his failing health and gave his life to the plight of our nation's dogs.

It is a very sad day for the rescue world.

On no crying.gif the World has lost such a wonderful caring passionate Man.
My deepest heartfelt sympathy to his wife Dee and their family and friends at this very tragic time.

Tenderly may time heal your sorrow
Gently may friends ease your pain
Softly may peace replace heartache
And may warmest memories remain.

God Speed John you shall be missed by so many.

Huge hug.gifs to all

So very sorry to read this. I count myself very fortunate to have met John twice, once when he joined us outside Harrods and also when he spoke to Kingston Council not very long ago. He carried on fighting for a better life for dogs in this country for as long as he could even though he knew that he was dying.

Thinking of his family now and rest in peace John.

John mate you will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with your wife and family. A most remarkable and caring gentleman who never ever lost his will to fight for the dogs or lost his sense of humour.

You will be missed John.
