Since Dogpages began nine years ago, any number of commercial sites and businesses have sprung up seeking to profit from dog rescue. Dogpages remains a non-commercial site run solely by volunteers. You won't find any profit-making adverts here and users of our forums won't find their details collected and sold on for marketing purposes. We hope you agree with us and support us in our belief that rescue animals should not be seen as a marketing opportunity or a source of profit. And we hope you enjoy the difference.

Welcome to Dogpages forums.

Hello,

I thought I should say a quick hello. I was given a link to this site via a friend on another forum, so I am very grateful to her.

My name is Laura, I live on the outskirts of South West London with my two rescue cats, Bobby and Molly (both aged four) and my rescue dog Tess, a 13 year old mongrel. Tess was a foster dog, but I turned out to be a bit of a rubbish foster carer and ended up adopting her! I am very glad that I did as she is a lovely dog and is now fantastic with my rather timid cats.

I love all animals and hope to adopt some ex-battery hens once I have sorted out my back garden.

Anyway, thanks for accepting me onto the site and once I have managed to get to grips with it (my IT skills aren't great) I will have to post some pictures of my brood.
