Do 'foster' dogs class as dogs you 'own' please ...

... and do you still have to have them! My latest foster produced some wonderful pictures, but he went to his forever home last weekend ....

Thanks

I think the rule is going to have to be that foster dogs can be entered - as long as they are with you during the photo comp. In other words, they are with you from Weds 15th and you take pics of them from that date.

The new owners of your old foster dogs are more than welcome to join (if they are not already members!) and enter pics themselves though smile.gif

You must get permission of whichever rescue you are fostering for, before entering any foster dog smile.gif

You can do this with their express permission Glenys - but please put "entering on behalf of *name of owner*" on these entries.

Thankyou Bev smile.gif

Now I just have to decide if the photos of Bracken catching a ball would be better in action shots or dogs with their toys (as knowing my luck the judge for them would be the same lol.gif )

Will you be announcing beforehand which judges will be judging which classes? unsure.gif

** not that I have any plans to choose classes with a judge who may be predisposed to my particular breed of dog, you understand! sneaky.gif lol.gif

No lol.gif

I split the judging as equally as possible (entry wise) so it all depends on how many entries the different categories get smile.gif

Can we enter pix that may have been entered into online competitions elsewhere? unsure.gif Even if they may not have won (or even if they have, which they rarely do but you never know)?

Or do they have to be brand new virgin pix never seen in public before unsure.gif

In 'dogs of courage' can we enter two piccies, a before and after if applicable?

i.e. thinking about tekno and his accident and whether to post a 'during/ before' and 'after' piccie if it relates to a dog which has made a wonderful recovery from accident/ illness etc?

or even if that kind of thing is OK to enter, i.e. he is 95% better now and only has to live with some minor things.

You can enter pics that have been entered elsewhere, or even here previously. It has to be that way or else people may not be able to enter dogs who have passed ( sad.gif )

Obviously, if you can get new pics, feel free to do so grin.gif

Dogs of Courage is a new category and I'd not thought about the two pic aspect. I think that'a a good idea though so I'll go and ammend the details for that class flowers.gif

And Tekno was certainly courageous so of course he can enter smile.gif

Edit - in fact I'll ammend the wording to include serious accident too.

If you have a look at the other pinned threads here in the show forum, you'll find one which gives details on how to do the pics and one which gives details of how to make payment smile.gif

The show categories will all be unlocked on Weds 1st July at 8pm smile.gif

If you want to practice posting pics by the way, have a look at the forum called Help Using The Message Board and in there, pinned at the top, is a thread called Test Post and that's where you can practice till you get it right smile.gif
