Hi,
I'm from Birmingham but would volunteer within the West Midlands. I can do a full day of volunteering on either mondays, tuesdays or saturdays and would like to help by helping out in kennels or walking animals. I'm currently doing an Animal Nursing Assistants course, have dogs and have a rabbit and guinea pig so have background knowledge on working with animals. I'm 18 years old and have a driving test within the next two weeks so I may be able to help transport dogs. Thanks, Tamar |

Hello all,
i'm in ingatestone, by Chelmsford. I'm exploring the options of how i can help with hopefully involving my own dog, she is my priority I can do some evenings and weekend Type of work: dogwalking, home-checking, open to maybe helping in kennels. at present maybe not fostering....but in time that may change. I have a professional background in contracts, contract management and Health and safety which hopefully could help too. available to carry out risk assessments in a work place and/or visitor sections. i'm also handy with a computer and could help a little there even the basics of taken photo's and writing a blurb about a dog. I currently have a van so can travel but i'd prefer to keep as local as possible. |

Lokation: I'll stay in the UK (Congleton) until the end of April 2012 to do my Internship. I brought my car with me, so I'm flexible. But it shouldn't be to far. Times: weekends Type of work: dog: walking, training, feed, helping in kennels, other help like webside or computer things, if its required. Any similar experience: At home in Germany I do some voluntary service at an animal home in my freetime since 2004. It is a nice activity to balancing the workday and the dogs enjoy the activity. I like to work with bigger dogs. |

Hello
I would like to volunteer as a dog walking/playing with person. I am currently pregnant (overdue!) and on maternity leave and would need to bring the baby with me; I'm not envisaging the baby interacting with the dogs particularly but lying and sleeping/being pushed in a pram while walking (it is a very all-terrain pram!) I live in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire (Herts/Bucks border) and would be available any time but wouldn't be able to travel very far. I'm not interested in fund-raising and wouldn't be allowed to foster I could also help with Web sites (I've built and run www.lusitano.org.uk to give an idea) I have experience training dogs (obedience and agility, in my youth) and I have lots of experience with horses. I don't have my own dogs due to a full time job which I will be going back to after maternity leave but that's the only thing that's stopping me! I am a qualified solicitor and I think generally quite a sensible and reliable person I have a car Katherine |

Hi, I would like to volunteer my services for dog walking and/or kennel helping/ looking after the animals.
I live near Edinburgh, and I unfortunately don't have any vehicle so I would be using public transport. I am 23, I own a dog, and pets have always been a part of my family. As a part of my education I interned briefly at a veterinarian/kennel. I love animals, and I would love to help out. I am currently studying at university but luckily my schedule this semester leaves me with a few days off, and I would be free to volunteer Tuesday-Wednesday, and every other weekend. I look forward to hearing from you. -Julia |

Hi,
My name is Steph, my partner is Rod and we are both looking to help as much as we're needed. We currently live in Liverpool in the L25 area, we have transport and can easily travel. We're available any day, evenings and weekends. We would love to help in any way possible. We're registered with a dog walking charity so enjoy and are experienced in this area, we love animals and would dedicate every second to them so could provide home-checking. We have plenty of room, time and love to foster, we have a car and have use of a van to help with transportation, we have both been involved with fundraising in the past and really want to help to do anything at all. We've always had pets, taken in strays and rescue animals. We currently have a cat and dog, they both get on well with animals and enjoy meeting new pals! We're also registered with a couple of other local animal charities. Hope to help soon =) x |

Hi everyone,
my name is Magda, I am 23 years old and living in London W10. I would love to help in a dog shelter, kennel, walk the dogs or just spend time with them helping in training and socialising. I am flexible, I am free during weekends and most weekdays (I am a student) I have a lot experience with dogs - with my Golden Retriever I discovered dog sports which after few years became a passion. Later, I used to train a lot of agility, frisbee and obedience with my Border Collie (positive methods). Two years ago I came to UK to study there and not only I miss contact with dogs but I feel extreme need to help those who haven't been as lucky as dogs living happy lives with their owners. Please do not hestitate to contact me if you need any further information. kind regards, Magda |
