There are Scottish SPCA Animal Rescue & Rehoming Centres throughout Scotland rehoming thousands of dogs and other animals every year.

You could find just the right animal for you by visiting one of our Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centres or in our online animal rehoming section: www.scottishspca.org/rehoming. You will find more information about adopting dogs, cats and other animals in need of homes on our website.

You can telephone our centres for more information but animals cannot be adopted or reserved by phone. To rehome an animal please visit an Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre where our helpful staff will be happy to answer your questions about pet adoption.

Please visit our website www.scottishspca.org to read our rehoming conditions, for further information, and for more dogs and other animals. Please note that sometimes an animal seen here or on our website may have already been homed.

* Name: Kaiser
* Age: 4
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Kaiser is a lovely wee four year old Staffordshire bull terrier. He is a nice boy who is quite quiet within the kennel environment. He loves going out for walks and once he's out and about he comes out of his shell.

He likes to chase after toys and he is looking for an adult home. If you think Kaiser is the right dog for you then please get in contact with our Centre.

* Name: Gyb
* Age: 5-8
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Cross Breed

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Gyb is a 5 - 8 year old cross breed. He is a very lively lad and very energetic. Any potential owner should be prepared to give Gyb the training he requires and be willing to give him the exercise which he needs to burn off his excess energy.

He gets a bit over excited when he gets near other dogs therefore would probably be best suited as the only dog in the household.

If you think Gyb is the right dog for you please contact our Centre.

* Name: Mitch
* Age: 1-2
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Mitch is a 1 - 2 year old neutered male Jack Russell cross.

He is a lovely wee lad, although he can be a little nervous when he first meets people.

We reckon that once Mitch finds the loving home he deserves he will become a fantastic companion and pet. However, he will require some time and patience to get to know his new owner and settle into his new environment. Mitch will be rehomed to a couple or person.

Can you offer this little guy a second chance? If so call or visit our Centre.

* Name: Pip
* Age: 3-5
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Lurcher

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Pip is a 3 - 5 year old male lurcher. He is a big, friendly lad that loves company and attention. He enjoys going out for walks and also loves the occasional treat.

Pip was slightly underweight when he arrived at our Centre and is now slowly starting to put it on, so any potential owner should make sure he continues his weight gain until he reaches an optimum body condition.

We reckon that Pip would make a great companion for someone who can spend time with him and give him the love that he deserves.

* Name: Tixy
* Age: 4
* Gender: Female
* Breed: Beagle

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Tixy is a four year old female beagle cross. She is a lovely girl who came into our care through no fault of her own. She has already been neutered and is fully vaccinated.

We have been told that Tixy is already house trained and isn't destructive, she has also previously lived with children. She is a lively dog who loves company and attention, but she doesn't get on well with other animals so will therefore be homed as an only pet.

Tixy's new owner will need to have the time and patience to help her settle in to her new environment. If you think you could give Tixy the loving home she deserves please contact our Centre.

* Name: Stan
* Age: 2-3
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

* Centre: Dunbartonshire & W Scotland
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Stan is a 2 - 3 year old Staffordshire bull terrier. He has just recently been neutered at our Centre.

He can sometimes be a bit nervous around strangers, so we would prefer any prospective owner to have some knowledge and experience of the staffy breed and the ability to help Stan with his ongoing training.

He is suited to a home without children and we think that once he bonds someone he will make a great companion.

If you would like us to introduce you to Stan please pop in to our Centre.

* Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

* Centre: Glasgow
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Hugo is a very friendly boy though is sometimes not too keen on other dogs. He will need an experienced owner and would suit a family home with older children or a couple/person living on their own.

If you can give Hugo a loving home, please call and quote ref 113207.

* Name: Frankie
* Age: 5
* Gender: Male
* Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier

* Centre: Glasgow
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Frankie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier cross. He arrived at the Centre in poor condition and has since reached a weight where he can now be rehomed.

Frankie is very friendly though can get over-excited at times and tends to jump up so would benefit from someone who has plenty of time to spend with him and continue with his ongoing training. He would suit a family home with older children or a couple/person living on their own.

If you can give Frankie a loving home, please call and quote ref 113579.

* Name: Sasha
* Age: 8-12 months
* Gender: Female
* Breed: Cross Breed

* Centre: Scottish Borders
* Telephone: 03000 999 999

Image

Sasha is a very loving, sweet natured dog - but she really does still think and act like a young puppy.

Sasha thinks that life is just one party and that she is the star attraction! She meets you with all paws flying and she thinks because she is smaller than you, she has to jump to your height in case you don't notice her!

She is however, a very intelligent dog, and she has started to respond very well to basic training, though any new owner would have to continue with this in the home environment.

The flip side to all of this is that certain situations scare Sasha (for example she is very scared of cats and won't go into the same room as a cat), and in these types of situation, all of her bravado leaves her, and any owner would need to help Sasha overcome her fears.

Although Sasha is fine with dogs - she can too full on with them, and this may lead to any potential canine friends hiding under the bed to get out of her way! For this reason, she would be suited to a one pet home.

Sasha is the type of dog, who would get on great with teenagers - being one herself! However, she would be too much for younger children.

With further training and life experience, Sasha has the makings of being one fantastic pet, she just needs to find her perfect owner.

Sasha has been fully veterinary checked and has been neutered.
