I do not know if this has been posted anywhere else or if this is in the right place, if not I do apologise and I hope that it is ok to post this? but it is quite urgent.

Doris Banham dog rescue has ran out of funding, there are 90+ dogs in boarding kennels that they now has no money to pay the boarding fees for.

These dogs are all death row dogs from pounds across the country....how ironic that they were rescued from the threat of PTS only to now face it yet again

This is a genuine appeal, these dogs are now under threat, please if anyone can help in any of the following ways do it without delay....

Donations of dog food needed.
Rescue places.
Free or cheap boarding.
Sponsorship of kennels.
Organisation of fundraising.

Please try to support this very worthwhile cause, Doris Banham has rescued thousands of dogs from dire situations, and now the rescue itself needs rescuing urgently or dogs will die! sad.gif

How sad...and can never get over the amount of dogs that are staffs sad.gif

Will send a donation.

Wish I could persuade my mum the time is right to rehome, Lincs isn't far from us, and she has the room and love to give...will email her the link see if that tugs on her heart strings a bit.

Wish I could take a couple in, but we just don't have room for more than 3 dogs err.gif

Thank you all very much, every little bit makes a difference...it is so sad, Doris Banham dogsos is a victim of their own success, so many dogs and not the funds/people to help!

Do you know who the best person would be to speak to for fostering? I may be able to help short term, but really it would have to be for an oldie or a calm placid dog.

For those unable to donate, try easyfundraising, and use this as your search engine. http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/
Within a month or 2, I raised 20-30.
If a number of people did this it would help considerably. They also give some sites that will donate money free to your chosen organisation.

Could someone from Doris Banham Dog SOS please pm a list of the dogs in danger, breed, sex, appx age, and where they are currently situated, we and other rescues may be able to offer some help.
Thanks
Carol
