Bailey needs a supportive family to offer time and tolerance to allow their new dog to settle. NB Our Rescue asks owners to maintain dogs on lead in public spaces and manage encounters, as dog law changes place dog's lives at greater risk.

Known background: Bailey has only ever known one home and grown up along side a toddler now 4 year year old. He is a little nippy around his lead being attached, occasionally feet walking to near his bed and fears strangers. Now a new baby prompts rehoming. We stepped forwards to offer a Rescue place and save ..life. Bailey is still with his family in East Sussex. Bailey is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated

Bailey is 4 year old very loving Jackchi. Bailey tries to control the immediate space around him: Fine to come on your lap but if allowed on the sofa will snap with a little growl if you attempt to join him. He can snap if you try to pick his lead up if its lying attached near him. Bailey doesn't like the "intrusive" but enjoys excursion, joining and entering other homes. Bailey doesn't like visiting dogs in his home but will happily visit another dogs in their home. Bailey socialises on walks, providing the other dog is not very large or runs up off lead. Bailey is always walked on extender as if he gets scared by a dog he will run home. Bailey visits 2 cats in their home a day a week and enjoys to chase if they run. No experience of small furries but fine when we see rabbits/squirrels on walks. Bailey has elements of small dog syndrome which is easily managed once you get a sense of him but currently difficult with a new baby in his family.

Visit Bailey's thread for daily updates, lots of pictures and videos. Please click to submit Online Application We will match you with a dog that suits your lifestyle, please remain open we successfully home 350 dogs per annum. We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes.

***PLEASE HELP: We have to ask for suggested min. donation 175 at the time of adoption, to support so many dogs in kennels. We have no state sponsorship and exist on the goodwill of the public and our supporters. Rescue Remedies offers their dogs back up for life.

Original Referral: Please remember this is the information we received from the referrer. Once a dog is with us and we begin to work with them and unpack them they can and often do reveal positive skills trust and transform behaviours Bailey's owner asked for our help to find a new family for bailey where he will be understood and cherished.
