I found the DP after I lost my beloved Chuckey-Lee
 last year november,she was a rescue too and so is my other doglet MowglyWe decided that one dog was not enough for us and after all, I wanted to keep the tradition going and rescue a soul in need again  But oh was already looking at buying a pup from a breeder so I had to find a way to change his mind and the best thing I could come across was DogPages  DogPages members have also helped me a great deal with my grieve over Chucks just like Ive also learned a lots more about dogs too and am a volunteer at HWAR and made new friends who understand Dog-madness,all that thanks to DP  so here's a big  to all of you DP-makers and DP-members Vivian x This post has been edited by chuckey-lee: 21st Sep 2005, 2:46 pm |

I was searching for weekend things that I could also take my dog along to and found dogpages events calendar. It wasn't long after I found chatter pages and have been hooked since.

By chance when I was looking at the local rescue listings, finding the local RSPCA and consequently Sasha Dog

was searching ( via a seach engine ) for a rescue centre in my local area
I got a link to that section of DP and a few weeks later found the forum part  |

I was looking for dog forums to chat in, but DP was pretty much the last one I found (and my far the best!) But ti took ages to register because of the problems with AOL so I lurked for a while. Then I gave up on the registration email and found I could sign in anyway without it! A slight mistake by admin there, I think

I Found Dogpages whilst searching for a rescue to get a dog to fill the hole in my heart that Queenie left when she died- 4 dogpages dogs later!!

My parents were looking to rescue a dog as company for their little terrier - they adopted two because they couldn;t bear to part them when they went to Many Tears! Lesley |
