Hi dog forum members

I am hoping you you can help.
I urgently need to find a suitable home for my beautiful German Shepherd girl.
She is in a pack environment with three other dogs but is not thriving in this. She is gorgeous, loving, very bright and would excell in any activity / endurance/ agility environment . She is so loving but needs a one to one relationship.

She is OK with our dogs but has shown aggression with small dogs but only when out with pack.
She is so loving and desperately needs a home where she can thrive. Has really high ball drive. Is very competitive as always wants to get to the ball first. Doesn't want to place ball anywhere where other members of pack can grab it and out flank her! This makes life a misery for us as she has to be taken out on our own. She is so fast and full of nervous energy.

I am desperately seeking agility home for her. I love her to bits but know that we cannot give her time etc that she needs . She
Is so loving and absorbs any love you can give her.

If you could give her a home please PM me.

Thanks

Please contact the 'GSD' rescues as they will find a suitable home for her. They are gorgeous, intelligent dogs and can end up in the wrong hands.

It is possibly worth posting on Agility Net:

http://agilitynet.co.uk/

Alternatively, have you thought about a working home for her (eg police, armed forces, etc)?

Attached Image Hi I thought a pic of my girl would help. Sorry, didn't work out how to post one yesterday unsure.gif
I will get in touch with Agility Net too thank you. Not sure how I would contact the Police/Army etc for a working home so if any one has advice that would be much appreciated.
Like any other owner looking to re-home for very genuine reasons, I don't like the idea of her going into kennels etc as she is so loving and not sure how she would cope with that but at the end of the day I just want to find that one-to-one relationship that I believe she needs to thrive. Thank you again for your replies and time. It is appreciated.

Have you thought of contacting any of the Working Trials societies or websites? If she's good with people and safe with other dogs when travelling, she could also make a good search and rescue dog, so it could be worth contacting SARDA to see if any handlers are looking for a new dog.

Good luck - she's beautiful!

You have not said where in the country you are, whether she is spayed, vaccinated etc. Quite frankly, it sounds like she should be going to a rescue so she has backup since you are obviously very worried about her. There are so many GSD rescues out there, have you contacted Cefni?

gsrelite.co.uk/

They work nationwide to rehouse GSD's and are a lovely caring charity. Wish I could have her, two years now since my Acer went to the bridge! Best of luck. As an afterthought any breeder worth their salt takes back dogs they have sold and rehomes.
