As requested smile.gif

Darcy is now 15 months post accident and is back to 'normal' - I never ever thought I'd write that! She uses all 4 legs now and runs/swims and can exercise for 2-3hrs at a time.

The experts see amazed at this and I don't think any of them ever imagined she'd ever get back to full fitness.

We now have her niece too (my 50th Birthday present early!) so she's enjoying having another Spaniel to play with ❤️

She's just amazing. Wears her StreamZ collar 24/7. She still gets regular therapeutic massage to keep everything working as it should.

I guess in time she will develop arthritis - it's inevitable - but hopefully that's a good while off.

She's still working with children less fortunate than she's been and ironically schools have her doing her bit in health and safety chats 🙈

Thank you for updating us. I'm sure you thank god every day that you gave her a chance against all the odds and boy it paid off.

Do you ever see the little girl in the wheelchair who Darcy befriended on one of her early trips out.

Yes a friendship has blossomed there and we now see a whole group of kids who have similar issues. Darcy gave her favourite teddy to her special little girl - they kept giving it back to each other 😂

It's weird, I always thought I'd consider her a disabled dog - how wrong I was - ENABLED would be how I'd describe her. Nothing gets in her way. The amazing thing aside from her bravery is her nature, despite everything she's been through everyone is greeted like a long lost friend.

For anyone facing anything what we did, I'd say always have faith that miracles happen ❤️

I am so please that Darcy is back to her old self, dogs do seem to make much better recoveries than we do. Darcy is very lucky as well, she had people who never gave up on her but still treated her as a normal dog when possible, her recovery is also down to you and the work you have put in. flowers.gif
