Many Tears Rescue is a rescue based in South Wales but we also have dogs in foster throughout the UK. We have many dogs that are waiting to find love. We rescue mainly ex-breeding dogs, but also help with some of the death row dogs from the pounds.

All adult dogs are spayed/neutered, micro chipped, inoculated, wormed and kennel cough vaccinated. All puppies are wormed, micro chipped, inoculated and KC vaccinated. A declaration will be signed at time of adoption requiring a new owner to spay or neuter a puppy.

We are looking for wonderful, responsible, forever homes. That means asking questions and trying to marry up the correct pet with the prospective new owner. We are not judgmental but we have a very large responsibility to make sure we do what's right for our dogs and you. We don't have regimental rules on what homes are suitable but there are times we have to turn a home down. Our dogs are often much traumatized, insecure and sometimes they have also been physically abused. They often need a lot of time spent on them so generally they are not suitable to be left long periods of time.

Many Tears adoption fees
The adoption fee for a dog/puppy is 200. You will find a break down of what this covers under our Adoption Procedures. If your application is successful you will be home checked and you, all members of your family and any dog(s) who will be living with the dog MUST come to meet the dog you want to adopt. All our dogs are micro-chipped, have had at least their first inoculation and are spayed/neutered unless there is a medical reason for not doing so. You must have a safe means of transporting the dog home in a crate or if this is not possible please discuss with Many Tears or the Fosterer when your application is being processed.

03-05-2016 Navy is a five year old ex stud Bichon who has come to us to find a forever home. Navy is a calm little boy who enjoys a cuddle. He is a learner on the lead and will need further help to become more confident. The vet checked Navy's teeth and sadly all of his remaining teeth had to be removed but he is coping well. Navy will need another dog in his new home as he has never have lived in a house before. Navy will not be house trained or used to the sounds of everyday household appliances so another dog will help him enormously. To date Navy has had a hard life and he now needs a wonderful loving home to show him how good life can be.

03-05-2016 Nemo is a four year old ex stud Bichon who has come to us to find his forever home. He is a friendly little dog who is happy to be held and cuddled. Nemo does not yet walk on a lead but we will be working on that whilst he is with us. Nemo has never lived in a house and it will be a strange environment for him so he will therefore need a friendly resident dog to help him settle in and learn about home life. Nemo will need to be house trained and this will also be easier with a resident dog. Nemo is now ready to find his forever home and find out how lovely home life can be.

13-05-2016 Alvon is a 6 year old female Shih tzu. She is an extremely nervous girl who is very shut down and not keen on being picked up. Poor Alvon is blind in her right eye and she will definitely need a resident dog or dogs in her new home who she can follow and copy the skills she will need to become a pet. This will help her hugely with house training and lead walking. Alvon needs a a quiet, adult only home as children would simply scare her with people who have experience with scared dogs. She needs a home with the time and patience to help her learn about love and that humans can be kind.

27-09-2016 Lucy is a 2 year old collie cross who is looking for her forever home. She was adopted but returned after 2 weeks as she is not fully house trained and did not respond to her name. Lucy spent a year in a rescue before coming to us so it will take her some time to adjust to living in a home and to learn what is expected of her. We did originally think she would be able to be an only dog as she is a very happy, energetic little girl who knows how to walk on a lead but to help her learn about house training and life as a pet it may be better to home her with another dog who she can copy. Lucy is absolutley adorable would make an amazing addition to the family so if you would like to offer the sweet girl her long awaited forever home please apply.

30-09-2016 Ranny is a 1 year old Bichon Frise cross who has come to us from her breeder to find her forever home. She is a petrified girl who is very stressed when being handled. At the moment she is not used to being handled at all but we will spend time to help her get used to human contact. Ranny needs an adult only home as she would find children too scary at the moment, wth people who are experienced with frightened dogs. She has extremely sore skin and eyes at the moment which we are treating. She is going to need a lot of time, love and patience to help her get used to living in a home. She will find it very strange and frightening to live in a home so will need a resident dog or dogs to help her get used to the sights and sounds of home life. She will not be house trained and will have no idea about walking on a lead. She will need patient owners who will help her to come round in her own time. Ranny has her own passport.

10-10-2016 Candy is a 2 year old female cross breed (weighing about 7kg). This cute little girl has come from a shelter in Portugal along with her sister Cher where dogs are routinely put to sleep if not claimed or adopted within a short space of time. Luckily she was taken in by a wonderful person who arranged for her new life to start over here in the UK. Candy is nervous at the moment and isn't sure why she's here. She is good with other dogs and will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her get used to the sights and sounds of everyday life. She has probably never lived in a home before and will need help with housetraining and this will be easier if she can follow the example of a resident dog. Candy can walk on a lead but needs to gain some confidence. She is going to need a patient owner who is prepared to invest time, love and patience to help her become a happy family pet. If you can offer Candy the home that she really deserves then please apply as soon as possible and help her to take the next step into her new life. Candy has her own passport.
