If you look up into the night sky and see a new star shining bright, that will be the spirit of our sweet boy. Grabby died peacefully in my arms on 8 November, just three days after his 17th birthday.

I had hoped I wouldn't be writing this post for quite some time yet.

One is never prepared. I guess in my heart I had hoped my little Miracle Man had one last bit of magic up his sleeve, even though I knew in my head it couldn't happen.

Grabby was a dog like no other. His little paws wrapped themselves so firmly around my heart from the moment we met. His claim on my heart never wavered, even as he was doing his best to do my head in. In the beginning life with Grabby might have been challenging, but our time together was always oh so very, very rewarding.

Grabby was a dog full of life, and full of love.

Words cannot say how much I loved him, how much I miss him.

How lucky I was to have found him, to have shared these 8 amazing years wth him.

Shine bright, Père Grabouille, my dearest friend, as you did all throughout life. wub.gif

Sorry to here that Grabby had no more miracles left in him, there will be a very bright star and a very big hole left in his wake I'm sure.

He had a fabulous home with you and I know that we loved hearing about his escapades over the years.

Big hug.gif to you all and run free Monsieur Grabby wub.gif

So sorry. hug.gif

Grabby touched so many lives - he was an inspiration and a comic and holds a very special place in the collective DP heart. wub.gif

And, through you ebd, he helped so many dogs, including our Flo. Your willingness to share your knowledge and experience supported so many humans and dogs through difficult times - quite some legacy for your special lad. flowers.gif

Rest peacefully Grabby knowing that, for a little dog, you made a big difference to the world. wub.gif Those, human and furry, who love and miss you are in my thoughts. hug.gif
