I've had an e-mail from photobucket to say my tinypics account is going to be shut down and if I want to save my pictures then I need to pay for a photobucket hosting account. I imagine others will get the same.
I won't be doing that as the cost is ridiculously high. Shame as it was lovely to see photos again... any other hosting platforms anyone know of? |

Did this one with ImgBB but it's a bit of a pain to use - you have to dig out the right bit of the link address to use here. I will try some others!  |

Most people on another forum I use seem to use Thumbsnap.
I have too, but I can't seem to work out how to get the photos to appear the right size. Others do.  |

I think you might have used the wrong image code moorx - there is one for a clickable thumbnail, which is what you've posted |

Does anyone know if you can still retrieve your photo's from photo bucket? My computer has broken down (with all my photo's on it). Now have a new computer with no photo's on it!

I've just managed to log onto my old Photobucket account yesterday - and right clicked on each photo in turn, then selected "save image as...." and saved it to my laptop's own files. Bit laborious having to do each one individually but I couldn't seem to work out how to do all in one go.
You need to be quick though because Photobucket sent me an e-mail stating that my account would be deleted shortly if I didn't upgrade to paying for it! I too had all my photos on an old computer which died and so didn't have any of them saved onto my current laptop. To prevent them being lost again if my current laptop fails, what I have done is e-mailed them all to myself (!) so they are also now permanently saved to my e-mail account. You could also save them to an album on facebook if you have an account. (Of course its always possible that in the future we will be asked to pay for these too.....) |

Thank you. I don't have an awful lot on there, so I'll get them off there. These days, I take most of my photo's with my iPad, but older ones aren't on there.

I cant upload the photos from my PC for some reason. i used to right click on copy and then paste but its not working.  |
