It has been a while since we have had a picture thread, largely due to photobucket deciding to charge for it's services. A clever dp-er has found a similar site that is still free to use. yay.gif flowers.gif

http://tinypic.com/ - all you need to do is register, upload your pictures (resize to website/email or messageboard - mine is messageboard size - as you do or they will be HUGE!!!) and then copy and paste the IMG code on to here.

So enough waffle - for those who don't 'know' them already please meet Bert and Moose.

Image

Bert is the black and tan lad - he is 10 now and we got him from the pound when he was a puppy. Moose joined our family last year from our local rescue - she is about 2 though acts like a six month old. rolleyes.gif Both found as strays but most definitely staying put now. wub.gif

Over to you......

Glad you've found it works for you Laura, I've had to use tinypic a few times when adding redbirds chirpy chat fundraisers in the event area. The hard part is getting the sizing sorted for various forums, you'll have noticed on redbirds forum each pic comes up small but is clickable to bring up the full size in a new tab.

Always lovely to see your Bert and Moose they look so contented together.
Hopefully more DP'ers who don't 'do' Facebook will add more piccies to DP.

Here's my two Lucy and Roy, both are from rescues and had sad lives many moons ago but now living together happily like a furry Mr and Mrs. xx

All looking gorgeous wub.gif

Pleased to see Bert and Moose looking so happy together Lolbeck.

Redcanary, I had seen Lucy and Roy some time ago, but couldn't remember what they were like. They're a lovely little couple wub.gif

Pleased you found us an alternative to photobucket smile.gif

Sorry Chris only just seen your post. Are you clicking on the img code? All you need to do on Tinypic is click it and it turns blue and copies it automatically so you can just paste it where you want it to go. Hope that helps Jxx

Here's my lovely gang (all rescues);

Henry, 9-year-old deerhound lurcher; a very big boy at 32" to the shoulder; and weights the same as I do!! sorry its the wrong way round, don't know how to change that

Image

Finn the Staffie, also about 9 years old, with Pablo the saluki-greyhound lurcher (probably about 5 years old) using him as a pillow; as happens very frequently! Finn doesn't mind, he is a very tolerant placid boy who loves his big brothers.

Henry again:

This is Mac, almost 15, looking very dapper in his new Christmas bandana from Natbest along with his Secret Santa stash.

It's a long time since we had a thread like this. It's good to see such lovely dogs.

Louwra ... Is Ollie the one in the middle in the bottom pic. .. The big lad?

Is he a cross ? He looks enormous. And the one on the left is smiling.

For some reason I'm not able to download recent pics onto my pc. It automatically updated to windows 10 and it's a mess mad.gif

Auntie Ange, yes Ollie is the big lad, almost as big as a Great Dane ( about an inch shorter) He is a cross, 50% Rott, his mum was tiny! the other half is cross GSD with German Shorthair Pointer! It would explain the long legs and his flipping tracking squirrels!! Goes completely deaf when there are squirrels and wont come back, so a fenced in field is a must for him!

Shame you can t upload some pics! So nice to see all the dogs!

I uploaded one correctly but the rest I uploaded at full size. There is an options to resize as you upload but not once you have uploaded if that makes sense!
