Hi All
The vets are now closed and my dog can not go to the toilet 'constipated'. Can anyone recommend anything?

Thanks

Online advise can be v dangerous, your dog could have a blockage or anything. Does your vet not provide out of hours service?

When was the last time you dog went to the toilet . Does he seem in distress ?

If you ring your vet , there should be an emergency number to ring if you are worried.

I find threads like this really irritating.

Someone posts asking for advice, others take the time to read and answer. Then when we hear no more soneone asks for an update and still we hear nothing.

The OP has been on DP today but not bothered to come back to their own thread and update us mad.gif

Please note[u]. This is because I was unable to post for some reason.

Regarding my dog I took her into the Emergency Vets on Christmas Eve and followed their advice, laxatives etc.. nothing worked and she went into my vets yesterday morning where she had an X-ray and other treatment which has worked so far. They have found a lump on her anal gland which hopefully will reduce, so will keep an eye on her. Thanks for your advice.

Very sadly Brindy was diagnosed with an aggressive anal tumour and we let her go yesterday. Now at rainbow bridge. It is heartbreaking and so sad but at least she is now at peace.
