If you are able to volunteer your help to a dog-rescue please add your details to this thread.
This should make it easier for rescues to spot the help they need. You can also post your details or questions in a separate thread.

Try to be fairly brief and please don't ask or answer questions in this thread - start a separate thread with any questions instead.

Please include:
Your approximate location.
Times available: weekdays, weekends, evenings.
Type of work: dogwalking, home-checking, fostering, transporting dogs, fund-raising, helping in kennels, other help.
Any similar experience.
Your age if under 18 years.
Whether you have a car or other transport.

Every rescue in the UK depends on voluntary help. ok.gif

Hi I would like to volunteer my services for dog walking/kennel helping looking after the animals

I live in Lincoln near to City Centre I unfortunately don't have any transport.

I am aged 28, I enjoy looking after animals but unfortunately don't have any of my own anymore due to housing arrangements. I did used to have two dogs.

I can offer my services at weekends/ every other weekend.

If I can help I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Nichola

I am a volunteer for RSPCA Lincoln, so I thought I would drop you a line - unfortunately our dogs are all at private kennels, and we are desperate for dog walkers, but the kennel is near Wragby, so no use to you if you have not got transport. But please bear us in mind if your circumstances change smile.gif

Good luck finding somewhere - if you feel you could do any other type of voluntary work, we are desperate for all types of help. Have a look on our website if you get a chance.

Hi,
I am in North Lincolnshire and have a male 3 year old Dobbie (very friendly and lively, neutered) and an 8 year old (very tolerant, spayed) female.
We are looking to foster and have transport.
We both work but hubby works permanent shifts. Everyday walkies includes off the lead running and they are both part of the family. We have no children. We have an enclosed garden and live in a village.
These are my 2nd and 3rd rescue Dobies.

Hope we can help. smile.gif

Hi Everyone

Recently joined the forum and have already adopted another doberman, and am fostering two dogs for Pro dogs in two weeks!

I have had Dobes for many years, and have an 11yr old as well as the stunning "Rocky" a very handsome
nearly two year old red/tan, with enormous energy and a very sweet nature, who arrived last week!

I am on the Bucks/Surrey border, and whilst I will be a bit tied up with my two foster dogs coming soon,
I can still help on short journeys locally, or an emergency overnight.

Hi

I live in Eastbourne. I am happy to help with transport, if required.

I am 56 years old and retired, so i am quite flexible re. days and distance, family commitments permitting.

I have a vehicle and a dog cage which is suitable for a small/med dog as well as a largish cat basket.

We have a dog and a cat (both rescue) if I can help in any other ways, please get in touch.

Your approximate location. - Stafford

Times available: weekdays, weekends, evenings. - Most days all day

Type of work: dogwalking, home-checking, fostering, transporting dogs, fund-raising, helping in kennels, other help. - I am interested in helping with taking phone calls or answering emails...e.g adoption enquiries etc and maybe updating websites / posting.

Any similar experience. - I 'man' the adoption line for the local RSPCA branch who rehome cats at the moment. I am happy to help with cats again but would also like to help with dogs.

Your age if under 18 years. N/A (unfortunately!)

Whether you have a car or other transport. Yes have a car but would like to work from home.

I work part time from home (only during certain months - its complicated!) so am available most days all day long...apart from when walking the dogs!!

Thankyou
