Hi all. We are offering a retirement home to an older dog. We are looking for a bitch and would welcome blind dogs too. We live in the Oxfordshire area. If anyone can help us to find the perfect dog thank you!!

They too are in my 'favourites'!! I have looked at so many rescue centres and it's quite hard, as some of them don't show the 'new' dogs and even if they do, they get snapped up very quickly (which of course is good). I also need them to be good with kids which narrows it down a bit. Thanks though!! There will be one out there!!

How old are the children as that will very much limit which dogs are suitable?

Have you seen our Tallula, a blind Shih Tzu? https://themayhew.org/dogs/tallula

We are in London, but we don't mind if the home is outside London, as long as you are willing to travel to our centre.

Please call 0208 962 8009 if you would like more information

You could also try Poodles in Need as they have some elderly dogs at the moment. They do have rehoming people and fosterers in Oxfordshire.
