Hi All

Most of my past rescues have been via this site, but since its stopped being active and darling Rescuewoman/Catherine is not longer with us, I'm at a loss how to find a rescue dog from a reputable small rescue.

My lovely Bob (black lab cross - probably with collie) died in September at the age of about 13/14. I am desperate to find another dog who needs a home.

My partner is at home all day, we have a large garden and live a mile and a bit from Filey beach (which is perfect for dog walking).

Please help us find our new dog and help a dog find its new friends for life.

I'm happy to travel to find a dog.

I work in Leeds a couple of days a week during University term time and have a house in Leeds. The dog will live in my house in Filey with my partner, but can also come down to Leeds whenever necessary.

My previous rescues all lived in Leeds. Bob originally lived in Leeds and then moved to Filey when I bought the house there. He loved it - large garden and the beach.

How about having a look at Labrador Rescue North West website? You would need to travel to Chorley but if you are in Leeds it shouldn't be too far. ######

Try yorkshire rose dog rescue. They're a very good small rescue locally. Based mainly around batley/Birstall area they're foster based.
