Hi, could anyone help please? I am looking to see if Dasha Dog Rescue is still going or more importantly the lady who used to run it back in 2004.

We got a rescue dog from there, Pickles. He has been a fantastic dog and we are currently on holiday in South Wales near Newcastle Emlyn where Dasha was based back then.

We would love to call in with Pickles to show Felicity what a lovely boy he turned out to be.

Thanks for your help.

David

I Googled Dasha and a link came up to a 2014 post on Dogpages. Someone ... user name JAC was also looking to contact them. He/she has been on DP recently so perhaps they may have information.

Hope you find the rescue. Sounds like they were special people.

I have lived near Newcastle Emlyn for 5 years, and I'm not aware of that rescue.

That's not to say they don't exist (or exist under a different name) of course....

There's another mention here:

Does anyone remember Felicity's surname. You may find her on Facebook.

Good, I'm glad.

I understand the ''emotional pull' towards lovely people who introduce us to our much loved furry friends.

Glad you found her.

I am still in touch with Felicity having adopted Pippi our adored border collie from her back in 2002 when Pippi was 1 year old. Pippi died aged 15 last year.

Felicity doesn't have her own dog rescue any longer but does foster dogs for another rescue in Wales.
