Ollie approx 12 month cross breed being fostered in Gloucestershire.

Little Ollie, as we call him- he probably weighs about 4/5 kilos (as sometimes it's difficult to tell from the pictures and videos as they can look bigger) we think he is probably mixed with chihuahua, maybe some sort of terrier he looks Border Terrier a bit.

This little sweet heart I met in Spain on my most recent trip he was under the care of the Charity we work with and I stayed their for a couple of days it was this little man that really took my heart he was such a sweet heart but so nervous, he was picked up with which we believe his dad living on the street of Spain where they both had tried to survive. His Dad is very timid, and not ready for rehoming yet he would not come near me - we are not sure how long they were on the streets of Spain ,but it's pretty obvious it was not great, and they suffered at the hands of man- probably shouted at, had things thrown at them and kicked as they both watched your feet to see if you are going to kick them. Little Ollie was so shy and would close his eyes when stroked him scared I think he was going to get hit, but he really tried to over come his fear as he was so desperate to be your friend he would come and sit on the sofa by me and all me to stroke him and give him a kiss. Videos of him in Spain and with his Dad etc below.

This little man has now made the long journey to UK and in his foster home with two dogs, an older couple with visiting grand children. This lovely foster family have worked so hard with Ollie to get his confidence up, he is completely different dog to the one that first joined us, the outside world scared him and going out it had to be carried most of the walk now once he gets through the gates which he finds scary his little tail is up and he loves his walks. His house training was a bit hit and miss but that is now more or less there. He is more confident around the other dogs and clearly enjoys being with them. He sleeps upstairs at night with the other dogs in his bed on the floor no bother at all. He has come such a long way with the help of his foster carers in Spain and now his foster carers here in UK giving him more one to one, he was so pleased to see me when I visited and to see this sweet dog so happy and thriving is a joy. Ollie will need a special experienced home to continue the good work his foster carers have worked so hard with to help his confidence he is not going to suit a busy family home, a couple or person will suit him and we think its really important there is another confident dog or dogs there to show young Ollie the ropes, he is used to visiting grandchildren and is fine with the little girl who is only 3, he is a very brave little dog who has overcome such a lot in a very short time and we truly believe this young dog will put his past behind him with the right understanding gentle home. We have made various videos to show his progress below -

This is out and about you can see he is nervous to first go out and seems to be scared of gateways but once out his little tail is up when he first came he would not walk and had to be carried so he has made massive progress...
