Holly 25/12/03 - 01/08/17

"Her Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of her as gone away
her journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much."

So sorry! I'm sure Holly is resting in peace, free of pain and truly grateful for the wonderful life you gave her.

When old dogs pass away, they leave so many memories and also lessons about dogs and life in general, so their legacy lives on in every dog (and person) whose lives are a little bit better because of what they taught us while they were here smile.gif

So, so very true. She has left a legacy for sure to all the many, many foster pups she trained and to our own dogs, all of whom are very quiet and subdued.

Holly was the sort of dog who raced through life enjoying every second, equally she could be very firm and very good at teaching pups.

She taught me a lot about loyalty and love.
