29-07-2016 Violetta is a 3 year old ex breeding shih tzu. She is very, very scared, shut down girl who does not enjoy being handled. Violetta needs an adult only home as children would scare her. Her new owners need to be experienced with frightened dogs. Violetta is going to need a lot of time and love to help her get used to living in a home. She will find it very scary to live in a house to start with so will need a resident dog or dogs to help her get used to the sights and sounds of home life. She will need help with housetraining and she has no idea about walking on a lead. She will need patient owners who will allow her to come round in her own time, if you can help this poor scared girl please apply.

27-09-2016 Lucy is a 2 year old collie cross who is looking for her forever home. She was adopted but returned after 2 weeks as she is not fully house trained and did not respond to her name. Lucy spent a year in a rescue before coming to us so it will take her some time to adjust to living in a home and to learn what is expected of her. We did originally think she would be able to be an only dog as she is a very happy, energetic little girl who knows how to walk on a lead but to help her learn about house training and life as a pet it may be better to home her with another dog who she can copy. Lucy is absolutley adorable would make an amazing addition to the family so if you would like to offer the sweet girl her long awaited forever home please apply.

10-10-2016 Candy is a 2 year old female cross breed (weighing about 7kg). This cute little girl has come from a shelter in Portugal along with her sister Cher where dogs are routinely put to sleep if not claimed or adopted within a short space of time. Luckily she was taken in by a wonderful person who arranged for her new life to start over here in the UK. Candy is nervous at the moment and isn't sure why she's here. She is good with other dogs and will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help her get used to the sights and sounds of everyday life. She has probably never lived in a home before and will need help with housetraining and this will be easier if she can follow the example of a resident dog. Candy can walk on a lead but needs to gain some confidence. She is going to need a patient owner who is prepared to invest time, love and patience to help her become a happy family pet. If you can offer Candy the home that she really deserves then please apply as soon as possible and help her to take the next step into her new life. Candy has her own passport.

11-10-2016 Rita is a 2 year old female Podengo (weighing about 8kg). This pretty girl has come from a shelter in Portugal where dogs are routinely put to sleep if not claimed or adopted within a short space of time. Luckily she was taken in by a wonderful person who arranged for her new life to start over here in the UK. Rita is a beautiful girl who is stunning to look at and will turn heads wherever she goes. She is good with other dogs and would be very happy to share her new home with another dog or dogs. However in the right circumstances we will consider homing her as only dogs as she is quite confident, but it's unlikely that she is house trained as she has probably never lived in a home before. If adopted as only dogs her new owner will need to be understanding of this and put in the work to get her used to being left and to help with house training and lead walking. If you have the time and patience to settle Rita into her new life, please complete an application form. Rita has her own passport.

20-10-2016 Flick is a 9 month old male collie cross cavalier puppy. He is not confident with people but still likes being picked up and given some fuss. He is a very waggy young boy when he meets other dogs. He needs a home with understanding owners who will help him learn to trust people and a friendly dog to show him the ropes. He doesn't walk on a lead and will need help with house training. He is a collie cross so will enjoy an active home where he will be mentally and physically stimulated. He has never lived in a home before and may find all the new sights and sounds scary at first. He would benefit from being taken to puppy classes so he can become more confident and socialise with new dogs and people.
